FACT: Where there are more guns, there are more gun deaths.

Californians are around 25 percent less likely to die in a mass shooting. Still too many!

.@GregAbbott_TX - them why did you slash $211 million from the department that oversees mental health programs last month? And why then do you not require background checks? And why did you sign a bill allowing permitless carry in Texas? You're doing a terrible job of keeping guns away from people who shouldn't have them.

@morgfair Did they bother to ask him how much funding for mental health services was cut from the current budget or nah?

Texas is dead last in the country for mental health services funding. Guess who keeps voting against it?

@cooperchip1 It would probably help if, every time a politician offered his or her opinion on gun violence, the news show posted on-screen how much that person received in donations from the gun lobby. Then we can assess how authentic their statements are.
