Data centers don’t just magically appear. Texas didn’t become the data center capital by accident. They go where politicians offer billion-dollar tax breaks, cheap power, weak regulations, and a giant welcome mat. If we’re serious about fighting these projects, follow the incentives. The data centers are going exactly where politicians make it cheapest and easiest for them to build. Want to slow them down? Start there.
