Sam Harris is a master of this. After listening to a good sample of his podcasts, I simply can't believe ANYONE would listen to him yet alone actually be popular. His content is just total rubbish the the point that's insane that he has a following.

So many parallels with business buzzwords like "Thinking outside the box," "Agile," "Silo," and "Value add." I often find that the people that use these words the most don't know what they're doing. They think the more they can string together, the smarter they sound. A famous cartoonist has an ongoing comic about this stuff. ;)
