Great movie. Black Swan ripped it off later. Seriously, several scenes in Black Swan are direct copies and the director actually tried to get the rights to do a live action Perfect Blue first.

A psychological thriller about an idol turned actress slowly losing her mind had no right to be this good.

The dark twist of this movie reminds me of the K-pop idols of today. Still very much relevant.
