The non-stop Live Transmission of Assembly proceedings is the biggest weapon that Vijay pulled to upset DMK and it was out of syllabus for them. Both DMK and ADMK would have thought that it was just another promise like they usually do and no one will have the guts to do it. To their surprise it is being done everyday and to their pain, it went a record 10 hours non-stop on 27 August. Around 4 days back all DMK Kothus handles were busy spreading the fake news that Mazagon investments went to another state because of TVK. Imagine if there was no social media, DMK would have just built this narrative for another month. Now this is the reason why DMK fears social media. Because it brings out the truth. The entire fiasco was created by DMK as early as September 2025 and the decision to move to another state was taken in December 2025. Stalin used all his foreign trips only for photoshoots. I recently gave a speech in the chamber on why Superannuation is a scam. People were never given a say by Paul Keating as to whether or not they wanted to give up their wages nor are they allowed to vote for board members. This is just wrong. People should be allowed to decide how their wages are used and secondly if they are forced to hand over their wages, then they should be allowed to vote for the board that manages their money. Both major parties have supported superannuation over the last three decades as they always back the establishment over the individual. will make superannuation voluntary and make superannuation boards hold elections so members can have a say as to how their money is managed. People in the villages are open about whom they are supporting. This narrative by Vijay that the contest is only between TVK & DMK is not only hollow but has no takers in the rural belt of Northern Tamilnadu. In fact both Stalin and Udhayanidhi only tagged Actor Vijay’s Twitter handle though they know TVK leader Vijay has got a separate handle. Such is the level of insecurity and the people could see that. DMK is setting a very weak narrative on a non-issue instead of focusing on any of the real people issues. Vijay is clear on being just a Chief Minister inside the assembly and not the head of TVK. He is calm and composed all the times, does what needs to be done, respects opposition's view points and acts on it then and there.
