Perhaps some strategical emphasis by Bryson DeChambeau here? Just days after Nick Faldo said Bryson has "zero clue of strategy" when it comes to links golf, Bryson fires 67 Thursday at Royal Birkdale and then says this:

Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.” Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? “No. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. “Last week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. “So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.” Bryson says he’s going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. If he were to win it, he would join Tiger Woods and Hale Irwin as the only players to win 3 gold medals. It would also put him just 1 championship shy of equalling the all time US Open winners record of 4, held by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Willie Anderson. So, as he’s a great student of golf history, does he ever think about it? “I'm very blessed to have done what I've done so far. But I'm still trying to pursue as many wins as I can, and, with the time and opportunity, I’d love to have a chance to win some more.” Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf U.S. Open

Play has been called at DLF and the driving range is about to become a concert area, but one man is out there still working on his game under the lights, Bryson DeChambeau. He’ll return tomorrow morning at 7:35 (visibility depending) with a 16 foot putt for par on 17, before completing his first round. Then there’s a quick turnaround before the start of his second. He’s currently 2 under par but says he’s playing great, just “rusty”, and they made some bad club selections on an unfamiliar course which led to mistakes. But make no mistake, he is well in this golf tournament.

🚨POTENTIAL APPEAL🚨 This is from the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies game, and by potential appeal, I mean Jesus Luzardo might have appealed when the inning ended and he got to the dugout. This was ruled a single and an error, but Stott has the ball, sets, throws, and shorts it to first, and if the throw is there Jordan Walker is out. There is just no way this stays as a single. This is very much (IMHO) an ordinary effort play here by Bryson Stott. This will get changed to an error, I'm certain of it. #STLCards #RingTheBell

Brooks Koepka leaving LIV Golf is an obvious blow to the league. But, it would be a considerably bigger blow if Bryson DeChambeau were to do the same. Bryson is contracted through the end of 2026, but he’s currently in discussions to extend early. Speaking exclusively to Tom Hobbs from Flushing It Golf, he spoke about the current situation: “I mean, look, it's confidential. I’m not going to share too much, but the conversations are in process. We have to get to a place where both parties have a good understanding of one another. It is getting to a place that makes sense for both sides. “And, I think that can happen, but you never know. Life throws curve balls and, obviously, we saw what happened today (Brooks Koepka leaving LIV Golf) and that was quite a shock to a lot of people and something that, you know, it is what it is. “People make decisions for whatever their needs and wants are and, ultimately, you have to respect it and move on and it feels like it was a mutual understanding and that's great. “I think that as a league now we have more opportunity to make some movements and I think that team has an opportunity to do some things differently than the past few seasons. So, we'll see where it all goes and where it all leads. Ultimately, it's quite interesting.” It certainly is interesting. Throughout the season, LIV Golf officials were trying desperately to convince media members that Brooks was happy and committed to the league and his franchise, when perhaps they were actually just trying to convince themselves. So, were the players aware he felt this way and did they expect the news to come so soon, before the end of his current contract? “There was always rumblings, but ultimately, it was a shock when I saw it today. I was like, whoa, all right, well, didn't know it was going to happen today. I didn't have that on my bingo card for the 23rd of December. “There's also, people can look at it as an opportunity. I always look at it as when one door closes another opens, right? And, I'm not going to speak for LIV, but I think that's what we're thinking of, at least from my perspective. If I was running the league, I'd look at it as an opportunity, not in a negative or positive way. It's just, it is what it is, right?” Bryson makes an interesting point. Brooks was never really committed to his captaincy of Smash GC or building a franchise, so perhaps a change of leadership and the opportunity that offers is actually a positive. There’s no point in having a big name player on the league if he’s not even prepared to wear his own team branding. So, now that Brooks has officially left, does Bryson think Brooks should be allowed back onto the PGA Tour? “I don't know, man. I don't know what they should allow or not… If they're going to be doing it by the book, they should do it by the book and not give any special exemption. But if there's a special exemption, it definitely opens the doors for others to do the same, which, you know, it's a slippery slope for sure.” Currently, no official pathway back to the PGA Tour for Brooks Koepka has been announced. So, any decision that is made will definitely be something all players on the LIV Golf League will be paying very close attention to. Follows on in a quote of this post. Bryson DeChambeau hasn’t played since the Ryder Cup and he won’t be again until LIV Golf Riyadh in February. He says he’s been speed training through the off season though and has a target of reaching a comfortable 200mph ball speed. He’s also been playing table tennis with America’s number 1, Kanak Jha. Speaking to Tom Hobbs from Flushing It Golf, Bryson said: “I’m not playing until Riyadh. I’m going to be going in hot though. I’m sneaky working on my game really hard. “I'm going to start ramping up my speed again. I ramped up my speed in November, got it to where I was pumping over 190 quite efficiently with some slow golf balls and stuff. I got to 200 quite a bit. “I haven’t done much recently though. I was playing some ping pong actually the past couple of days with the number one USA player, Kanak Jha. He's so much fun. Ping Pong is my favourite sport, so I got to learn a little bit from the best in the U.S. He’s twenty first in the world. So nobody's really gotten that high from the U.S. which is sweet. “But I'll get back to speed training right after Christmas and going into the new season, I want to be close to 200. So that's my goal. I’ll just get to a place where I’m super comfortable swinging fast.” The last time Bryson went after speed he gained an enormous amount of mass. He’s come back down through the weights though over the last few seasons and is much healthier for it. But, if Force = Mass x Acceleration, will he look to add more mass again and what’s more important, increasing acceleration or gaining mass? “They're both very important. If you don't have any mass, you can't accelerate it. It's a symbiotic relationship. It's actually more like F equals M V squared, that’s more of the velocity side of it. “You can accelerate too, but what I would say is the most important thing is it's not necessarily the mass or the acceleration, it’s the ability to put pressure onto the club. So you're able to apply pressure and control that through your grip strengths around a circle, that's probably the more important piece. Applying controlled pressure to the golf club like grip pressure. “It's not that you just accelerate the club, because you have to learn how to control the face through that motion as well. So it's all, you know, you can say it's acceleration, but it's a lot of grip pressure stuff. The more you control the grip pressure and how you're moving that grip, I would say that’s more the answer to your question. “And I guess at a certain point there’s dimishning return with, you know, going up in the mass and even down in the mass. There is a sweet spot for swinging a golf club. If you get a speedstick, there's just not enough mass behind it to create the smash factor necessary, and vice versa if it is too heavy, you can’t swing it that fast. “I'll always say swinging and accelerating the club is probably the most important, but the real answer is applying the most pressure to the golf club. The grip pressure. You’re not gripping it tighter, but your hand force into it pulling it and then throwing it around the corner.” Continues in comments thread below. Joining me in the voice of reason. Even Bryson says all this contrived internet coach garbage isn’t correct! 🤷🏻‍♂️😳We don’t see many players doing it. Instead they stick to physics, facts and logic. Your arms lower to shallow with minimal external forearm rotation, minimal, infact some internally rotate trail arm as an example. At least someone else is calling out the contrived rubbish that nobody can do or does 🤷🏻‍♂️⛳️👍🏼 vid @brysondechambeau

In 2021, an 8-year-old Bryson Kliemann from the US sold his Pokémon card collection to pay for his sick dog's treatment. Bryson's dog, Bruce, was suffering from a contagious virus and needed immediate treatment. As the family couldn't afford to pay $700 for the treatment, Bryson decided to sell his Pokemon cards by setting up a stand outside his home. In just two days, he raised nearly $400. Moved by his efforts, the mother started the GoFundMe page. Their initial goal was to only make $800. But within a week they raised $19,000. Thanks to the stranger's support, Bruce got the treatment and made a full recovery. The family later donated extra money to help other animals, turning one act of love into a movement of kindness. But the story didn't end here. Bryson's decision to part with his prized possession reached the Pokémon headquarters. Touched by the gesture of the 8-year-old boy, company officials gifted him some rare cards that are expensive and hard to find.

A very interesting theory someone brought to Jon Bray's attention is that this van in the parking area where Charlie ends up getting carried to after he is damaged pops the trunk just seconds before the shooting. Apparently acoustic analysis of all sounds at that time support that a real shot was fired from the rooftop area into the back of this van and that possibly a detonation was triggered by the sound. Here is a link to his post about it. You should look at his page and all of the amazing work he has done on this. No one earth has more credibility when it comes to the shaped charge theory. Jon Bray Here is his interview with TriggerSmart on YouTube.

NEW: FBI has launched an investigation to find the drone operator who put a 3x6 hole in Canada's Super Scooper aircraft which was fighting the LA fires. The plane was initially grounded but thankfully, two more Super Scoopers are on the way, according to The War Zone. "I’d just like to stress, that technique, using that super scooper aircraft, are our most effective technique to fight fires like this, and when this happens, it puts everybody’s lives at risk," said the assistant director at the FBI’s LA Field Office. The Super Scooper skims across the surface of the water, quickly picking water up before dumping it on the fires.

Lesson. If you are going to protest, find a way other than concreting/gluing your hands to the road. A lot of this is happening in Germany this week. If you think that some Americans are extreme when it comes to trying to protect our planet then you really need to travel to Europe. With the world recently seeing some of the hottest days on record perhaps they are onto something. I’m of the mindset that humans are too selfish to make major change and we will likely have to rely on new AI-driven technologies to figure out wide scale carbon capture. Thoughts?

From $366 to $101,449 in 30 Days. The Strategy You’d Never Think Of I think I just found one of the strangest strategies on Prediction Markets. This trader made +27,618% in 30 days, making him one of the most profitable grinders in the entire game. His profile: The strategy is surprisingly simple: It instantly enters every new tweet window at 1-3c, before anyone reacts. When Musk’s tweet pace jumps above normal (0.8–1.2/hr) and odds are still cheap, it instantly loads more. Once the market updates to the real tweet speed, it exits locking in a clean spread every time. Making over $100k just by predicting Elon Musk’s tweets sounds insane, but this strategy pulled it off in a single month. What’s stopping you from trying it yourself?

Real Club Valderrama hosted its first event on the LIV Golf League in 2023 and has been a staple on the schedule since. The GM, Javier Reviriego, says they are very happy with their partnership and they will be looking to renew their contract when it’s up next season. Speaking to Flushing It Golf, Javier said: “We're very happy. I mean, for us, the event has been great, giving us a lot of visibility. “The best thing is to have these great players here. I mean, these players, we would have never dreamed of having them here in a DP World Tour event. That's a fact. “And we couldn't dream of bringing a PGA Tour event to Spain because I don't think that was ever going to happen either. So, we wanted this quality of players, and there was no choice, really.” LIV Golf Andalucía is just 5 weeks away and the build out is currently going up all over the course, with a huge hospitality area on the bank behind the 17th green striking an imposing presence. Advertising boards promoting the event greet arrivals at Gibraltar Airport and they are in the process of thickening the rough to make the course as challenging as ever. Javier says he has spoken to league executives who assure him it’s business as usual and Valderrama are even considering some renovations to the golf course to help improve the venue for future years. Their contract with LIV Golf ends after the 2027 season, and Javier says they are looking to renew and would be “happy to continue the relationship.” The LIV Golf League returns to Valderrama on June 4th as Talor Gooch aims to defend and win the title for the 3rd time in 4 seasons. Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII will defend the team title. Real Club Valderrama Javier Reviriego LIV Golf
