Perplexity Computer (in Standard Mode with Opus 5.5) is capable of designing and building an end-to-end, browser-based open-world game by renting its own GPUs, running headless Blender, doing procedural design, downloading assets online, and designing audio. Done with ~$2000 worth of credits. Play here:

neat but 1) this is not fully autonomous build (im guessing) someone had to give feedback and iterate on it 2) this more flexing opus 5.5 and its capabilities rather than your harness or whatever perplexity computer is, you can do this with a simple pi agent aswell 3) what do you guys even do now?

the skyline behind the speedboat is what sells the open world. did the agent place those buildings or was that a downloaded asset pack

Renting GPUs and running headless Blender is the part that caught my eye. At ~$2,000 in credits, this is one expensive game jam.

renting its own GPUs is the wild part. $2k for one game is still a brutal unit cost 😅

It rented its own GPUs and ran up a 2,000 dollar tab making a video game. AI finally has the spending habits of a teenager with his mom's credit card.
