Persian or Arabian Gulf?

It's the Arabian Gulf 1- Arabs live on both sides of the Gulf 2- Iranians are using the Arabic word (خليج) to say Gulf because they don't have it in their language. 3- a lots of old maps showing the Arabian Gulf on them.

Regarding who lives there, the vast majority of people living in the GCC are South Asian. Can you post the maps?

It's the Arabian gulf by all aspects. Persians aren't even native to the ME.

Of course there wasn’t a fixed name, there never was a fixed name. But before it was known as the Persian gulf it was called by other various names. Just like how it was “*Something* Gulf” and became known as the Persian Gulf, now it will be known as the Arabian Gulf.

arabians were already living in it before persions even get close to it
