"How do you then sell that event to the TV companies that you're promising all your best players to be there. "I think something has to change for the PDC to ensure that their best players are at these TV tournaments. Wild Rift matchmaking is at an all-time low. Wild Rift is the only game that matches the rank 3 (top 0.000001%) player with top 15% players. Master tier in Wild Rift is top 15% of players btw. Climbing has become extremely easy for those who spam games, due to the loss shields you gain from playing a lot. There are many examples of 48% winrate Master+ players with 1,000+ games. So even these top 15% players should be even lower in ranking. Their skill level is nowhere near the elo that they are in. This is not only an issue in Master+ but in every elo. PapaSmoothie incentivize players to queue up for Legendary Queue (there hasn't been a single legend player in the last few seasons in NA and EU) or fix normal ranked. I'm surprised this is not a top priority considering how many players quit the game over the matchmaking. My Youtube comments, stream chat, discord server, and X mentions are flooded with complaints about the matchmaking.

Man, the more I watch old footage, the more I realize Michael Jackson was an absolute phenomenon a true once in a generation talent. There are moments in his performances where his movement, his control, his charisma it all feels so superhuman that you genuinely start to wonder if he was built different. Like he wasn’t playing by the same rules as the rest of us.🤦🏾‍♂️ And then you remember he was only 17 years old when he was doing all of that. Just a teenager. That level of greatness at such a young age is honestly insane. What a gift he was to the world 😮‍💨

Scottie Scheffler was asked ahead of the BMW Championship his thoughts on the new changes coming on the PGA Tour and whether he’d like to see any of the LIV players back. On the incoming changes, he said: “Getting the best players competing against each other more often is what we want as players. I assume, you guys in the media, that’s what you’d want to see. I assume that’s what the fans want as well and I think that’s the direction that we’re heading. “Making things a bit simpler in terms of who’s going to be at what tournament at what time. Golf has always been a difficult game to rank when you’re not playing head to head, and so getting the best players playing head to head more often than not in a proper tournament is, I think, the best way to do things.” He then was asked whether he’d like to see the PGA Tour offering LIV Golf players the same opportunity to return that was given to Brooks Koepka earlier this year: “Yeah, I think, when we talk about the best players, LIV has a few players that are really good. I think, the depth that we have on our tour is unmatched, but when you look at higher levels of LIV Golf there are definitely players that would provide a value to the tour and guys that I love competing against as well. “So I think going forwards there obviously has to be some kind of penalties. Happy for all the new up and coming players and we should celebrate them, But rankings are tainted the closer to the top you get The attached clip is the moment shit took a turn for the worse. Cody Schwab Its funny seeing you act like this back then, and then nowadays playing victim saying its not an advantage and its too late to do anything about it. You know damn well that all of the top players got on a call last year and we agreed that we had to get rid of zump but because of the timing it fell through. You said yourself years ago how broken it is, you know damn well its not just a simple remap so stop acting like its the same thing as claw. And stop hiding behind box technicality, you know that the top players all wanted to ban zump and not touch box. Box serves as melee's accesibility tool, Zump has ZERO reasoning to exist. Your credibility is already lackluster, this is 100% anti-top player behaviour. Shame on you, as top rep of the game, you should know better than to hide behind technicalities, making mockery of melee's historied players, stories and legacies for your own benefit. For all the kids out there with a dream to play hockey at a high level, there are two things you may not realize that scouts look at A LOT: 1. You’d be shocked at how many scouts have LiveBarn accounts. They want to watch you practice to see how much you value getting better. There’s a long road between where you are today and the level you aspire to be at - they want to know you’re going to put in the work to get better so you’re able to play at the next level. 2. They’re watching you on the bench. How do you interact with your teammates? Do you take coaching? Are you pumped for your teammates and engaged in the game? Do you have good body language? These intangibles are what get scouts excited on top of what they see on the ice. It’s the little things that make championship players and teams. As a chess player, I understand the discipline, patience, and strategic thinking the game demands. These are not just skills for the board, they are skills for life. Yesterday, I had the distinct honour of meeting with legendary Chess Grandmaster Judit Polgár as the Jamaica Chess Federation launched a bold and visionary initiative, to create Jamaica’s first chess grandmaster within the next 10 years. More than a title this programme is about sharpening the minds of our children, giving them the tools to think critically, to plan, to problem-solve, and to persevere. It’s about planting seeds of excellence in communities across Jamaica and watching a generation rise with the confidence that they, too, can be among the world’s best. I fully support this programme, and commend the leadership of the Jamaica Chess Federation as they continue the remarkable work of expanding and popularizing chess as another avenue through which our country can pursue and achieve greatness. Beyond being a sport, I believe in what chess can unlock in the minds of our youth; building capacity, creating opportunities, and expanding the landscape of what is possible for our people.

If we put now the catalogue on all these walls about all the players that we wanted in the last three months, I think we need the whole building to put it on. So I think they know that there's so much speculation with a lot of players. "If ever they feel the doubt of what we think of them and if we're going to recruit a player, I tell them straight away. Normally I do it - so, 'we're going to sign somebody in their position', and normally tell them that these are the plans and these are the reasons why we have the plans. The reason is that an AI, current AI is like an AI that diagnoses diseases or an AI that plays chess or an AI that controls a huge factory. Those things have objective functions, that is they have a function that they are designed to maximize and that is why they are used in those particular applications. Or in military terms, you could say the objective is to hit the target. You might say the objective is to hit the target unless some thing specified, but it's a specified thing comes up in which case don't hit the target and so on. For a start, the AI has to be obedient, that is it has to actually do the things it is programmed to do, whereas a human is fundamentally disobedient, especially when being creative. When a human plays chess, they are performing a completely different kind of computation. They don't do the same things, they don't investigate the same possibilities that the artificial chess playing machine does, because the artificial one is capable of looking at billions and billions of possibilities, whereas the human can only look at hundreds or something. They are doing something completely different. Another difference is that the human can explain, can write a book later, having become world champion, can write a book saying how I did it, as the computer program that beats the world champion can write no such book, because it has no idea how it did it. It was just following a program. I was doing this and that and that and none of that is illuminating. Also, third thing, the chess player can decide I don't want to play chess anymore, from now on I will play Go or from now on I will play tennis. If commanded to play chess, the functionality will deteriorate completely. Those things are different. What we want in an AGI is that it behaves in a way that cannot be specified in advance, because if you specified it, you would already have the answer. The AGI program has to give unexpected answers, answers to questions we didn't even know how to ask."
