Peter Thiel: Competition is for losers

He calls competition for losers because in markets with network effects, the winner captures the surplus. The goal isn’t to compete better; it’s to eliminate rivals and own the category. Monopoly maximizes margin. Innovation becomes a moat strategy. The market concentrates.

competetion is what gets you out of bed in the morning

Says the guys who wants a corporation to rule the world.

Monopolies build the biggest fortunes, but competition builds the best products. smart founders learn to dominate a niche after they’ve competed their way to something people desperately want.

Let’s build business monopolies through collaboration. Competition is for losers. Who is interested?

Been saying this for ages. Only customers want competition to bring up quality and bring down prices. Company owners just want maximum power to drive up maximum profits 🤷‍♂️

What is this guy waffling about? Creating a monopoly is taking competition to a whole new level. Either way you're competing.

That's a fucked up way of thinking. I first thought he is about to say something good: "Cooperation/Colaboration is for winners." but no, he wants absolute power. Become the emporor over others and crush them to not have a chance to compete. That's fucked up and not optimal for society either.

@pbarbieri pierpa, opiniones?

@grok he really said this, did he

The core of biology is all about competition. Our own genes compete against each other before we are even born

Just have fun no need to dedicate your life destroying people l didn’t know I was competing with people until they tried taking me out and tried making me look bad and make me look lazy I just don’t wanna get murdered by some dumb fuck but now I actually want to try ♈️
