i only did this to prove a point to a specific person as they were adamant that it would explode etc. i dont recommend this but dont want people to think petg is as bad a filament as they say.

Thats good because i did this for reason beyond my own comprehension. lol Still not finished tho, had some dental costs that came up.

I've tested this myself, initially they work great. Same thing for AR lowers. The problem is that after several months of absorbing moisture from the air, they tend to become brittle. The AR-15 lower I could do push-ups on after printing, snapped after I dropped it 6" onto the stock.

Petg isn't frowned upon because it's prone to failure, it's just about how it fails. Did a nag in full petg with no issue, still I wouldn't fire it without eye protection, at a minimum 👀
