Ugggghhhh. I could never do that. We've rescued a ton of dogs; our high watermark was 13 running around the homestead at one time. Down to two now because they've all crossed the rainbow bridge. Here's Angus, our most recent one that crossed the bridge. He was so handsome. Say hello if you'd like.

Our 1st rescue was found by cops in the Jersey City gutters, abandoned by his family…. dying of starvation. We had to wait a month before he was well enough for us to adopt him, living 10 yrs with us Wonderful yrs Yet he cried when we drove through JC, smelling his old family

I could never give up my pets because they are part of my family. This video breaks my heart because these animals feel emotional pain. Some people should never own pets because they are selfish and they don’t deserve the kind love that only a pet can give you.

Thank you for posting this. It is a tragedy to surrender a dog. I have had 5 rescue pets, down to one. It is so painful to lose them (when they die), but I would choose that pain for me over this pain for them.

This breaks my heart. I got my baby girls back all day. It's all about loyalty and unconditional love

They’re always so frightened, confused, the people they loved and depended on them just abandoned them and most of these dogs at County shelters are going to be killed. Many shelters only give them 24-48 hrs because they know no one is looking for them. They aren’t “lost” dogs, they’re owner surrenders.

I hate anyone who can do this to a dog. We are their entire world and they live to please us. I try my best to do everything in my power to please them as much as they work to please us. I make boiled chicken breast from a local farm and rice or organic scrambled eggs every day for them, play with them, give them lots of treats, take them for walks, etc., and I don’t leave them home alone unless I absolutely have to for things such as a doctor appointment, then I come straight back home. They have the purest hearts and this should never happen to them 😭

Extremely unfair to do that to a pet!…🥺🤯 The pet had a favorite spot to sleep and play. Loved to hear the laughter of their human family😔🐾 How can anyone selfishly return home, eat there favorite food, relax in their favorite place at home, and wake up the next day; looking at the photos and toys of their pet?? ☹️ -Not even knowing or shallowly caring about your pet’s future 😤

I used to do a lot of shelter pulls for our American Eskimo rescue. The shelters I walked through often had 6 or 8 long hallways with cages/pens on both sides all filled with dogs. I never once made it through without a lump in my throat and tears sttreaming down my face. My record was 27 pulls, and 27 Eskies in new forever homes. The 28th pull? I adopted a very senior Eskie who had zero chance. That filled my 4 dog limit at the time, and was the end of my rescue days. ❤️🐾❤️

Hits home 👏 My dog is my kid. I don't understand people that give their dogs to the pound/ shelter or just drops them off in a parking lot or park. . List your dog on some websites and find them a good home for free!!! I still won't understand doing that either but that's the better option.

Crying this is so sad When I was a kid my mom dropped me my brother and my sister off on a main st and told us to go to the orphanage which was down the side street….. we were scared yet thought ok maybe it will be better…. But then she came back around about fifteen minutes later and said we were too stupid and would get her in trouble by using our real names. So I know what it feels to be dumped out. Don’t do it find a home if you can’t live them out don’t get one.
