💬 minghao i want to watch you ski 🎱 how do i put it.. these past few years i feel like i cherish my life more. like previously, those bungee jumping, parachuting/skydiving, i wanted to try them. but really as i grow older, for adventurous things, things that are life-threatening, gradually i will try not to do them. my work intensity is already so demanding. although i'm playful and like these kinds of challenging things, things that push the limits.. i feel like no matter what i do, what if i injure myself? and like with concerts, comebacks, and some schedules, i've already made my body so weak, and if i continue to do these extreme things, i'm afraid just suddenly.. right? maybe i might be okay but accidents, you'll never know where they'll come from. [giggles] so really, i feel that if you're still young and have dreams and have the things you want to do, at this moment, you have to do it. because when i was young, although i don't feel like i'm getting old nor feel like my age is too advanced, my mentality is still really youthful. the truth is i'm still not old. but for me previously, a few years ago, whenever i wanted to do something, i'd definitely do it, so as of now i don't have anything that i particularly regret. never feel like 'in the future/later when i'm so on and so forth then i'll do it', at this moment you want to do it, just go and do it. you want to meet anyone, you have to go and meet them. want to do anything, you have to go and do it.

"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."

jihoon talked about his germany trip 🥹 he visited the bauhaus in dessau, the meisterhäuser, bauhaus school building and student dorms, bauhaus museum, and the neue nationalgalerie 🐶 there’s a famous photo taken on the balconies of the student dorms.. the one where students gather and look down below. but as i was looking at that directly from underneath…woah, it’s seriously killing it. i looked straight up and because it was snowing so much, the sky was all white.. woah, this is modernism. everything is pure white and just.. it was very good 🐶 if you go to the bauhaus museum, there are things like marcel breuer chairs, wassily chairs.. there’s a lot of exhibition 🐶 since it’s in german, i’m looking at them one by one using papago. looking at just one thing took so much time, i was getting so drained but it was seriously amazing 🐶 looking at mies van der rohe’s chairs and things like that in person, hah… i want to buy them and take them if korea was a close country 🐶 if you go to the neue nationalgalerie, mies van der rohe did that, he built it. they recently did the saint laurent show there too 🐶 seeing things like that.. truly in the world, there really is a lot to learn. woah really, in the world there are many pretty and diverse things, and you see as much as you know. since you see as much as you know, i should read many books, and look things up a lot, i thought a lot of things like that so i have fun even if i go alone 🐶 it’s so much fun even if i go on a trip alone. people around me said who goes to germany in january? everyone was like why go to germany when you could go elsewhere in europe? but i found germany really fun? it was really really fun. so it depends on a person’s taste. wherever you go, off season or peak season, all that is meaningless actually, if you just have the will yourself. no matter what others say, if there is something i find fun, then i go and play, that’s how it is 🐶 you’re surprised because i know as much as a major? well, for me, if i like something, i look it up and dig into it really deeply, so i guess that’s why.. i know things i like well, but i don’t know things i don’t like very well. there are pros and cons 🐶 actually, even though you have to transfer to get to berlin and the flight.. and the language doesn’t work at all, if i have something i want to see, and there’s something i want to feel by going there, and i have that kind of will, i think a person can do anything 🐶 yeah right~ german art is really diverse, and kind of underrated? that’s right~ the fine art galleries are also really well done 🐶 when i went to berlin, other than going to galleries or things like that, i only bought clothes once. shopping.. i went just once in a vintage shop 🐶 and the galleries, really everyone has them done so so well, and germany is.. it’s good to go after knowing some historical things too. seeing those things in person, many thoughts came to mind

Recently I was working on something with Astra and it implemented a Swift app, with a BE server also in Swift. It worked fine, but I'm not a Swift guy so I had it rewrite the BE in TS After that went perfectly, I've been thinking a lot more about the stuff that kinda doesn't matter as much anymore Programming languages, libraries, formatters, etc. All of it feels pretty effortless to switch in/out and I just don't care as much as I did before. Recently I was working on something with Astra and it implemented a Swift app, with a BE server also in Swift. It worked fine, but I'm not a Swift guy so I had it rewrite the BE in TS After that went perfectly, I've been thinking a lot more about the stuff that kinda doesn't matter as much anymore Programming languages, libraries, formatters, etc. All of it feels pretty effortless to switch in/out and I just don't care as much as I did before. #mewnich #beonnnie MEWNICH : Let's talk about EmiBonnie. This year, I feel like... oh, this year, I got to be in the same songs as Bonnie A LOT! Both the vocal songs, the uke stage, and also Genie. So I feel like I've become much closer to Bonnie. I don't know if Bonnie also feels closer to me too, but I definitely feel a lot closer to her. And honestly, like, as many people already know, during the time we were practicing for the BB concert, Bonnie had so much work. Work was just piling up on her heavily, and she was in so many dance units, she was in Meri too. So... everyone was trying to help Bonnie as much as we could. MEWNICH : For example, in the uke song, I memorized her parts for her. Like, I literally guided her through the movements. Meaning, "It's okay, come with me, I'll tell you what to do. I'll guide you and point out where you need to go for the next part, Bonnie" Because I felt like I wanted to help her as much as possible. She might not have had as much time as the others, but she had to survive and make it through this with us. And luckily, in that uke song, she was standing next to me quite often, right? So I told the choreographers, "It's okay, Teacher. You can continue with the choreo and the blocking. I'll help memorize Bonnie's parts." So the moment she arrived, I could guide her through the steps right away, and I would constantly keep telling her what to do. Honestly, I'm really glad that I could be a part of helping Bonnie get through this show. And we've gotten to talk to each other so much more.

That means a lot to me because I don't think I ever saw on television somebody that looks like me never in a million years would I have thought that this would happen to be nominated for a Grammy. It proves to me also that culture is loved. Different cultures are being accepted. Yes it might sound like a silly drinking game but I feel like that could become a song that brings so many people joy, everyone has been enjoying it so much and I've been watching that and it's really just blown my mind away and so it means so much to myself, my younger self who grew up feeling like that would not be a possibility and it means a lot that APT is the one that is being celebrated so much. 👤 things you do when things are hard. things that make you happy. 🐈In my case I think when I'm stressed or having a hard time I don't try to force myself to be happy. I think I need to be able to look at my situation objectively in order to overcome it. So I actually try to accept it. When I'm stressed I listen to more calm and deep music. I don't think I'll get any brighter even if I try to force myself to listen to bright music. So, I accept the current situation and because the stress is caused by something not going my way I have to solve it for the stress to be relieved. I think I try to find a solution like that. 👤So, you don't avoid it and face it head-on. 🐈Yes, if I avoid it, I think I'll just get stressed again in the end. jungwon🫳🏻😭😭😭
