My understanding, listening to hours of Robert F. Kennedy Jr is that he asserts that the US regulatory system of pharmaceuticals & foods is broken & captured by the industries it supposes to regulate! Many serious scientists agree with this assertion! Mainstream media and people like Paul Offit use the typical tactics of calling people conspiracists instead of addressing RFK arguments! Ironically, they are part of the system & narrative that pushed the harmful COVID vaccines into massive use, including in children & pregnant women! Offit speaks about transparency re the COVID vaccine approval process but neglects to acknowledge that FDA & Pfizer wanted to conceal the data for 75 years! In the UK, only around 14% of menopausal women take HRT and this number usually shocks people. But as you can hear Dr Mary Claire Haver talk about here - in the US it is only 4% now, when just over 20 years ago it was around 40%. Much of this reduction in HRT use and the negativity regarding HRT stems from the misinterpretation of the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study which was published in 2002. For those of you who don’t know much about this, in 1993, the WHI began a clinical trial looking at the health effects of women taking oestrogen-only or combined HRT compared to a placebo. In 2002, researchers halted the part of the study looking at women taking both oestrogen and progesterone (two hormones that decline during the perimenopause onwards) early over concerns there were small increased risks of breast cancer, heart disease, strokes and blood clots. This led to confusion and concern from doctors and women worldwide, and in the UK women taking HRT fell sharply. But even with the older versions of HRT, the WHI researchers have subsequently acknowledged that HRT is the most effective treatment for managing menopausal symptoms like hot flushes and that taking oestrogen alone reduces the risk of breast cancer by 23% and death by breast cancer by 40%. It is time we move on from the misinterpretation of this study and allow more women to access hormone replacement if that is what they want.

Historically this issue was repeatedly addressed - women had suffered immensely - but it was not taken seriously. In this video from 2005, the then President of the National Organization for Women, Kim Gandy, criticized FDA Commissioner Lester M. Crawford during a press conference: "Lester Crawford is a veterinarian, but at the FDA, he's treating women like dogs." The single experiment conducted before breast implants were performed on women was done on a female dog, and the implant removed two weeks after; then, the surgeons declared the procedure to be "as harmless as water."

Here I focus on just one small aspect of the article....small in word count but ENORMOUS in real life negative impact. Quote: The Royal Commission Phase Two report said efforts to communicate the risk of heart inflammation were “extensive”, but VACCINATORS DIDN'T ALWAYS TELL CLIENTS ABOUT THE RISKS, NOR DID THEIR GUIDELINES ALWAYS REQUIRE THEM TO. At the time of Petousis-Harris’ email, September 2021, the Ministry of Health’s guidance for District Health Boards (DHBs) and providers mentioned heart inflammation as a rare side effect “BUT DID NOT RECOMMEND IT BE DISCUSSED WITH PATIENTS BEFORE ADMINISTERING THE VACCINE" the commission’s report said. TRUTH IS COMING. Kansas is the first state of many who is suing Pfizer for misleading information given to Kansas consumers. Pfizer marketed the vaccine was safe for pregnant - However, in 2016 they had possession of a study that showed more than 1/2 of the pregnant women who took the vax had an adverse event - more than 10% reported a miscarriage. Safety relating to heart conditions like myocarditis and the CEO said they had not seen a single signal which was not true - They knew the vax cause myocarditis. Pfizer said the vax protected against the variants but at the time data showed the vax was effective less than half the time. About transmission - Pfizer urged Americans to get the vax indicating that getting the vax stopped the transmission of Covid - Pfizer later admitted that they never even studied transmission. Our study has just been published in Menopause journal which is a peer reviewed academic journal. This study is based in clinical data from over 1,500 women who were perimenopausal or menopausal. It showed that absorption of oestradiol through the skin through a patch or gel really varies with around a quarter of women requiring higher doses of oestradiol to absorb adequate amounts through their skin. Almost one in three women using standard doses of oestradiol had low levels of oestradiol in their blood. There has been so much confusion in recent months about doses of oestradiol which has led to many women being told to reduce their dose or even stop HRT. However this study highlights the importance of having the right dose for the right person as absorption can really vary between women. This misinformation is really damaging to women’s health, so on my podcast this week I invited Dr Avrum Bluming to join me. Avrum is a leading US oncologist and has spent 25 years studying the benefits and risks of HRT in breast cancer survivors. As you’ll hear in the episode, Avrum tells me about more recent studies that have shown that oestrogen alone decreases the risk of breast cancer development by 23% and the risk of death from breast cancer by 40%. Yet many people still do not realise this. You may have seen the headlines this morning with yet another paper showing that women who have an earlier menopause are at a higher risk of dementia. This is something we have known for decades now and it’s because oestradiol has protective effects all around the body - including the brain - so when a women has an earlier menopause, she is without her hormones for a longer period of time which leads to this increased risk. The paper I am discussing here talks more about the science behind this and I would really recommend you all read it. I will share a link in my story now. It is crucial we do more research in this area and allow more women to have access to hormones if that is what they want.
