Pharmaceutical ads could be banned from television. CNN says it could "cripple" them. Pharma ads make up one in four ad minutes on TV — $5 billion worth. Yet studies say half of prescriptions are unnecessary. And one in four is harmful.

This needs to happen on both fronts. Most of what’s ailing America is either pharmaceutical or propagandist side effects, or both.

And they make them look so appealing, while minimising serious adverse reactions

These ads keep the networks in tow. Their news rooms won’t publish anything negative about the pharmaceutical companies who pay their salaries.
