You missed PI. PI: Anyone in the lab? Please find x and put it on my table before 4 pm today.

That’s a good addition :)

This is my son at 11 yrs old vs 13 yrs old. Wth do you tnink PhD and Postdoc are?

72/9+5

Can someone please explain what number this is supposed to be? This is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Postdoc? I learned this in Algebra 1 in 8th grade.

PhD in what, Art History?

Primary School : knowing his 9 multiplication table => evident solution.

Mmmm, no, both would just do it in their heads.

Anyone taking Algebra I and actually understanding it would do the division first to make the numbers smaller.

Bachelors degree in engineering: 9(x - 5) = 72 x - 5 = 8 x = 13

Professor: It follows that x=13.

That's maths for 12yos you fucking moron reporting your engagement bait account

So the person here both PhD student and postdoc? Haha

They need to decide how they’re going to write their 1’s.

At the Masters’ level, I was already calculating it by first dividing both sides by 9 and then adding 5, so what exactly is your point?

This is complete nonsense.

Quite accurate!

Haha, thanks

High school kids do it both it doesn't matter

If a PhD Student does this he shouldn't be a PhD student 😂

Bravo

am I missing something
