🚨 This is a solar eclipse — but not from Earth. Seen from the surface of Mars by NASA’s Perseverance rover 🌑🔴 That tiny “space potato” crossing the Sun is Phobos, Mars’ moon.

Close-up of Phobos, measuring about 25.9 × 22.6 × 18.3 km. Phobos is slowly spiraling toward Mars at roughly 2 cm per year. It currently orbits about 6,000 km above the surface and is expected to break apart or impact Mars in around 3 million years.
