👉OK, so a few days back I saw a photo in my phone, that prior I had not caught the significance of. Frank Turek, was standing in the far left corner of the photo & it looked to me, like he is pointing his phone to film Rick Cutler. -Allegedly. So my friend here, sent me the original video that someone had caught, at some point, & asked me to see what I can do with it. -The first video is the original one that I was sent. -The second item, is a picture of the video that I took. Something to me, looked a lot like a face, & sunglasses. I then saved that image & edited it in my basic phone adjustments, to try to define what I thought I am seeing, as best I could. -Next, is the picture, that gave me the original impression, that Turek was filming Cutler. -And then I edited a video to highlight what I think… I am seeing. -ALLEGEDLY… Thoughts please? Cam Skattebo is asked if performing in primetime games motivates him more: "I feel like I'm the best player on the field. You guys notice it more when the lights are on, because more people are paying attention. I'm going to play the same exact way that I do every game. If the lights are on, lights are on. If the lights aren't on, you're still going to see me play the same ball. The same amount of people just aren't paying attention, so it doesn't get blown up as, 'he was a star.' Okay. Like many of you, I was troubled by my last guest. I’ve followed Jason Ladayne for over a year, and I’ve seen him do things with a deck of cards that left me flabbergasted, amused, bemused, amazed, and occasionally, gob smacked. Most of it, however, can be explained by raw skill. Jason is one of the best card mechanics to ever live, and when the cards are in his control, he can conjure up anything. But what he does in this clip takes things to another level. Watch it and tell me what you think. I cut the deck several times when his back is turned. There’s no way he can see what I’m doing. After the final cut, which is left entirely up to me, I take three cards off the top, and put them into my shirt pocket. Jason tells me to remove one. Any one. I doesn’t matter which. And somehow, he knows what it is. Likewise, the other two. How? On the other hand, do I really want to know? I think I do. But the world is more interesting with a bit of mystery, right?

5001 lights in WebGPU (Shade). 1 directional shadowed light with CSM + 5000 sphere lights. Using clustered lighting, similar to Unreal, the screen is split into tiles of 32x32 pixels and then further split along the Z axis. Lights are culled and binned. Most of the time engines implement clustered lighting with a fixed number of partitions in XY, something like 40x20, let's say, this is generally fine, but it doesn't adapt to different aspect ratios and tends not to scale as well into higher screen resolutions. Finally, by splitting the XY in 32 pixel increments (or anything that's 2^N really) - you get better wave coherence, that is - pixel shader runs more efficiently. The engine supports up to 10,000 so-called "local lights" in the frame, which can be either be sphere lights (point lights with volume) or spot lights. When I say "in the frame" - I mean on-screen at the same time. There can be a million lights in the scene for example, but only 10,000 can be visible at a time. Can increase the limit, but I reckon 10,000 is already a pretty (un)reasonable limit.

‘I had spent a long time thinking about how you bridge the border between performer and audience. I used to open shows walking through the audience with lights or drums, or I’d sing numbers from the furthest seat from the stage, all sorts of things, and I thought actually maybe the ultimate thing you could do as a performer would be to fall backwards off the stage and, except for a couple of times - one of which I think was in San Francisco where the audience kindly cleared a space for me to do whatever it was I was going to do - it worked very well’ - PG
