There is strong scientific evidence that phthalates exposure can shrink penis size in infants (PMID: 23429708). Phthalates are a serious threat to our health (PMID: 34069956). The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has spoken extensively about the endocrine disrupting effects of these compounds. If you really need an air freshener in your car, I recently posted a reel showing you how to make a healthy one at home. I strongly believe avoiding these chemicals will improve your quality of life.

If you have vinyl (vegan leather) seats, you’ll be sitting on a ton of phthalates as well. Get genuine leather or fabric.

All air fresheners whenever I see them in a car or home, I know the owner is a fkn head banger.

It’s wild how normalized endocrine disruptors have become. Our ancestors didn’t need air fresheners: they had fresh air. 🌱 Time to rethink our environment and what we bring into it.
