Physically attacked and called terrorists earlier today at Bakerloo station as we left a peaceful protest in solidarity with Palestine. The woman repeatedly shouts Pakistani, exposing her ignorance. Two Jewish women intervened and called her out.

*Baker Street station We are all fine, thanks for asking. Palestinians are going through so much worse. The solidarity shown by two Jewish women afterwards who checked up on us was heartwarming. We must stamp out all hate. Antisemitism, Islamophobia, all of it.

Visibly Muslim women are far more likely to be targeted. And these individuals can behave far more violently. Over the past few days, politicians and media outlets alike have whipped up Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism. These are the consequences.

@BTP Thanks. Yeah, we're all fine. Unfortunately this bigotry is being enabled by rhetoric in the media and from our politicians. Muslim women, in particular, are far more likely to be targeted. That's my real fear.
