Tonight I was supposed to be at the Seahawks game in Seattle. But as you saw the train did not make it there. Turns out the trailblazers are at home! So I still got to go to a cool other team game. And guess what at least 15 Oregon fans came up to me and didn’t even fake talk trash they just said welcome. It was awesome. Reminded me of Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Green Bay where people were just like treating me like I was family and they don’t even know me. I love taking these sports trips. They’re so fun!!!!

College basketball matters in the Twin Cities, it really does, it’s our job to make it matter. It’s games like this that start to get that going again. I love having the students rush the court, it’s supposed to be fun. You want them to come to the game and enjoy being there, rush the court, see us win. They go home and they had a blast, well you know what, they’re probably going to show up Friday too…and they’re probably going to bring their friends, I hope they do. I really appreciated the crowd so much. #Gophers
