Physics effect is a bit subtle. Probably not worth it for general animation.

Jennings: I mean, is it worth it? I mean, was not putting on a tie worth it?

Looks a bit silly but experimenting with an armature deforming the bulge (weird parenting, so it sticks out the back out the snake atm but can always use constraints on something else).

The latest piece I’ve been working on with vellum, trying to build a system that can tear and then stitch itself back together. I’ll admit, it ended up becoming an "eye" animation, but I realised it's probably not the best animation to showcase the effect #sidefx #houdini

Here is a bit of a peek under the hood into the layers process for A Home for Swallows! I’m working on the painterly effect using Blender’s Geometry Nodes. Big thanks to the team for their incredible animation! #geometrynodes #b3d #painting #sketch #3d #tradigital

Tried giving this effect to Arceus in a test animation and it's not chopped anymore on close-ups I can't believe it

The character acting animation during this bit was probably the funniest part of the ep.

One thing about the open source community is that there is a certain kind of weaponized autism when it comes to... "physics". Even if the original model is pretty good with it, "pretty good" isn't enough. Some want it over the top, with anime aesthetics that make the physics often look a bit ridiculous. But it's these kinds of things that move video technology forward. Not cute animal videos, not images of landscapes, but rather the cringe and often embarrassing. its the same energy that moved traditional animation and video tech forward, and today it's moving with AI.

Dennis Rancourt is a Former Professor of Physics & a Multi-Disciplinary Scientist “As a Scientist, I can tell you, there's no global warming. There was no pandemic. Nothing is spreading. Nitrogen is not a problem. Cow farts are not a problem. You can double the amount of CO2, and it will not have a noticeable effect on the Earth's mean surface temperature, period.”
