Hermes just made its in-app browser a whole lot more useful. You can now keep multiple browser tabs open inside Hermes Desktop instead of every new page replacing the one you were already using. And that matters more than it sounds. Because this is not just about “having tabs.” It means Hermes can work across multiple pages without forcing you to keep losing your place every time you open the next thing. Research one source, keep it open, open another tab, compare them side by side, and keep moving. Check a few products before buying something. Look at multiple hotel or travel options at once. Keep a YouTube tutorial open in one tab while Hermes looks through docs or another page in the next. And because this lives inside Hermes Desktop, you are not limited to one basic browser view either. You can keep multiple tabs open. You can view two pages side by side. You can stack them top and bottom. You can even run a four-panel view when you want several pages open at once. So the browser inside Hermes is starting to feel a lot more like a real workspace instead of one page you keep replacing. There is also some nice polish that comes with it. And remember, this is the same in-app browser Hermes can already read, click through, type in, scroll, and annotate. So this is not just a prettier browser. Sure, but the idea of simplifying the appearance of Fortnite, the locker and the shop are all going in the exact opposite direction of simplicity. Equipping cosmetics takes double, if not triple the clicks. The UI is impractical and janky, not to mention the introduction of buttons and drop-down menus that were far easier to access previously. Selecting a skin to rotate it, preview it or even spin it around now requires clicking on it, which then applies it to your loadout. Previously this needed a confirm button so you could preview and choose skins, backblings etc without loosing your currently equipped on if you want to go back. Wraps are not included as part of a character's preset despite being completely relevant to the skin worn. Changing emotes, lobby tracks, and all cosmetics now means you have to back out and change tabs, something that could have previously been done on 1 page. The sectioned tabs make sense with new types like LEGO Kits, Cars, Instruments but there's no need to separate Character from Wraps, Emotes or Lobby. Archiving or Favoriting items can no longer be done in batches or quickly. Previously all you had to do was click once per cosmetic on the button but now you have to enter a drop down and select it for every individual item. Applying wraps to all slots now requires a drop down menu rather than simply clicking the button at the bottom. Swinging a pickaxe or redeploying a glider is near impossible to do and feels like more of a chore to actually accomplish with the drop-down menu. It overlays onto other items meaning as soon as it's clicked the menu vanishes and switches to another cosmetic before the animation can even begin. Cosmetics in the locker can be searched by seasons using "S1-17" but after S18+ they no longer filter. Entering the drop-down menu or right-clicking anything in the locker accidentally immediately takes you all the way back to your currently equipped item when exiting. The filter menu requires an "apply" button to be pressed rather than simply closing and applying when selecting one of the filters, taking longer and more clicks to simply find your recent items or remove a filter. The filter menu was also better as a side panel so you don't have to move your cursor to the center of the screen and back every single time. As a side panel it also allowed for more options to be displayed, whereas the current one requires a huge scroll bar to simply filter by favorite. The presets menu scroll wheel also zooms the skins in and out as you scroll up and down the list. Because of the randomize preset button, the list compared to when saving a preset is all moved up by 1, becoming disorientating to where the preset was in relation to the rows. The shop no longer displays item descriptions or set names on cosmetics - now requiring a click on each individual item when there is adequate space to do so. The new shop and locker appearance can be accustomed to, however, it NEEDS the basic functionality and user-friendly UI elements that the previous ones had. Simple buttons at the bottom to favorite, swing, redeploy and equip. Less tabs to switch between, less clicks required to complete simple tasks and less feeling like there's a battle against the UI itself just to equip the cosmetics you paid for. We appreciate the moves the renew the locker and shop, but in terms of functionality and user interaction, there is nothing we want more than the old one back or the old one's elements merged into the new appearance. The shop no longer displays item descriptions or set names on cosmetics - now requiring a click on each individual item when there is adequate space to do so. The new shop and locker appearance can be accustomed to, however, it NEEDS the basic functionality and user-friendly UI elements that the previous ones had. Simple buttons at the bottom to favorite, swing, redeploy and equip. Less tabs to switch between, less clicks required to complete simple tasks and less feeling like there's a battle against the UI itself just to equip the cosmetics you paid for. We appreciate the moves the renew the locker and shop, but in terms of functionality and user interaction, there is nothing we want more than the old one back or the old one's elements merged into the new appearance. Thanks again to everyone supporting, it's been a blast to see your reaction to my frontend and it's a bit surreal. It's also a blast to fix issues and add requested features so yeah, I'm very grateful! For people complaining about RetroArch not launching games, make sure to select the correct core as the emulator in the platform settings. (If there are still issues, let me know of course) Added - Controller layout setting (Nintendo / Xbox / PlayStation) under Settings > Tweaks swaps face-button icons and remaps A/B and X/Y to match your controller's actual layout. (First-run prompt asking which controller layout to use). - Per-game emulator override and launch argument override, for titles that need a different core or custom args than their platform's default. - Added a UI scale slider under Settings > Tweaks to make the UI bigger/smaller depending on what you prefer (the UI was pretty small on the Retroid Pocket Nova) - Duplicate filtering when scanning a platform: multi-disc dumps (e.g. "Game (Disc 1)", "Game (Disc 2)") now collapse to a single entry. - Discord username/Email field (optional) on the feedback form to be contacted (seems obvious enough but was forgotten 😅). - Expected file extensions are now shown when adding or editing a platform. - Joystick 3D model now rotates in its preview with right Joystick. Changed - Renamed Appearance to "Tweaks". - Removing a platform now also removes the scraped data. - Games are now sorted alphabetically. Just finishing up everything you guys voted on for 3.0. Here’s the feature list. Submitting tonight. Revamped Transfer Portal: Portal rebuilt from the ground up. Player cards now show fit at last school, why they're leaving, role they played, and minutes pattern so you know who you're getting. Stars are harder to land at low prestige unless you're spending real points and NIL. Also added JUCO players alongside the D1 transfers. Flips and Decommits: Recruits can now flip schools or decommit between windows. Rare but real. Full screen flip alert pops when you reach the dashboard so you don't miss it. Pure decommits put the kid back in the pool. Don't want any of it? Toggle flips off in settings. Freak Recruits: Generator now occasionally rolls something special. 6'9" point guards, stretch bigs that pass, athletic freaks at center. Tagged with a Freak badge. Rare enough to feel like a real find. Power Metrics: New analytics section. Pace, efficiency, four factors, strength adjusted ratings. If you want to actually know who's playing the best basketball this is where you go. Series History: Pregame card now shows your full all time series vs the opponent. Win counts both sides, last meeting, current streak. Switch jobs and the series stays with the school. National Game of the Day: Featured matchup from across the league each game day. Tap in for the full preview just like your own games.A new way to follow the rest of the country. Dream Jobs: Pick a dream job when you create your coach. Offers roll in as you build prestige. This school will keep a close eye on you. Old Stars Become NIL Donors: Players who graduate or go pro show up years later as NIL donors. Build a legacy and the donor pool builds with you. God Mode + Custom Realignment: Force Commit works reliably now and every other reported God Mode bug has been fixed. Force Wins added for CT and NT. New: every offseason in God Mode you can manually realign conferences. Move teams around and build the league you want. UI Changes: Polish across the interface. Cleaner cards, better spacing, mobile first layouts. New Series History card design. Diagnostics page in Settings if you ever get stuck. Other: 2.9.5 was supposed to be bug focused but had a submission error so I merged everything into 3.0. 3.1 will also be bug focused. Tried to fix every bug reported. Thanks for the support!
