Westwood was such an amazing game studio. One of their timeless classics is Eye of the Beholder 2, which was released in 1991. The intro alone gave me nerd chills - anyone who ever played Dungeons & Dragons would remember Khelben Blackstaff, and if he considers you his friend, what an honour! The game itself is your typical dungeon crawler. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way but appreciating it for what it was and is, a great game of its genre. Excellent graphics (I am such a sucker for that 90s pixel style), good sound effects and music, and an easy to use interface, making the real-time fights fast paced but manageable. Among the greats of Bard's Tale, Might and Magic, Ultima, and Wizardry, the likes of Eye of the Beholder or Lands of Lore were probably a tier below, but I always loved coming back to them. To me, this game is emblematic of the early 90s, and for that I love it.

I think it’s about time Activision or Gameloop officials shared an update on the future of Call of Duty: Mobile on emulator. Gameloop is the only official emulator that allows you to experience the game on PC with a keyboard and mouse without the risk of being banned. However, the game hasn’t been updated on Gameloop for the past 3 months. The comment section of every official Gameloop post is filled with players asking for answers, yet officials are actively ignoring these concerns. I know many will argue about the necessity of playing a mobile game on PC, but it makes the title accessible to a wide range of players who aren't comfortable gaming on small screens. The game already has a full-fledged official PC edition, but it is currently exclusive to China. If Activision chose to, they could release it globally. This would be beneficial for them, especially since many PC and console players are frustrated with recent mainline CoD titles. Most agree that CoD: Mobile is the ideal game they want to play, but they just don’t want to play it on a phone. By releasing a dedicated PC version or restoring support on Gameloop, Activision could unlock a massive new player base, a percentage of whom would likely spend money in-game. It’s a win-win situation for both the developers and the players. The lack of communication needs to end! We need an official answer regarding the future of the game's global version on PC.

We're proud to share a short compilation of our latest real-time gameplay recordings. These clips come from our daily playtesting sessions and internal tournaments with the team. We've effectively entered the Polishing Stage of the Game Development — which means, uncovering and correcting a maximum amount of bugs with QA, working on graphics/performance optimization, and iterating on the Game Design. As promised, all Flash Blocks, Units, Black Cards and Exclusive Skins have been successfully integrated in-game and will be available at launch this Fall. It's a special feeling to see the efforts of about a hundred people coming together into a single piece. This game is... Sincerely yours.

I will be launching a new DAO on daos.fun This DAO is going to be a decentralized game publisher , the idea is to make fun games, lightly integrate crypto (don't ram it down users throats), and just focus on the stuff people like....Being able to win Sol in pvp death matches. The idea is simple. You have a "safe" zone where you farm, and pvp is enabled but you just lose items, and you have a "hard core" zone, where you enter and wager SOL, you have to enter, kill the players, take the loot, and extract before the mobs or others kill you. If the monsters kill you, the sol goes to further game development. If you win, you keep it. REA HIGH STAKES PVP. It also makes the game fun to watch, stream. I envision two player types, the professional filipino web3 gamer kid, this guy is going to grind, then chill in the dungeon and try to kill you, and the First world-er pay to win type. who wants to burn like 20$ to gear up, and try to kill the filipino kids. Its still skill based enough that you cant really pay to win. You just get good gear, but that won't matter if you dont have the mechanics down. Similar to Albion online. The trailer attached is all real game play, the game is LIVE and ready, but still has some bugs, but will be playable right out the gate (private beta first) , and DAO token holders will have an active say in the shape of the game. I wouldn't yolo your life savings into this, its mostly a passion project I funded myself, and I am going to keep launching different games, and each might have its own token or just use the DAO token, its all going to be on a game per game basis, but the point is to allow people to invest and capture some of that value, and to build in public and build up a player base with each new game the DAO launches. I have already poured like 50k+ usd into it, and I dont care if I make nothing, I just am so tired of shit tier crypto games and think we deserve better.

Nick Saban was asked a question after practice once. His response was 70 seconds of gold on what it takes to be successful in life. Here’s Saban on the Illusion of Choice: “These guys, they all think they have this illusion of choice. Like I can do whatever I want to do. “You have a younger generation now that doesn’t always get told no. They don’t get told this is exactly how you need to do it. So they have this illusion that they have all these choices. “But the fact of the matter is, if you want to be good you don’t really have a lot of choices. It takes what it takes. You have to do what you have to do to be successful. “You have to make the choices and decisions to have the discipline and the focus to the process of what you need to do to accomplish your goals. “All these guys that think they have a lot of choices are sadly mistaken. As we all have done with our own children, they learn these lessons of life as they get older. “Sometimes the best way to learn is from the mistakes you make, even though we all hate to see them have to make them, and we don’t condone it when they do.” – I’ve studied Saban for 12+ years, and the Illusion of Choice is one of the most powerful concepts I’ve come across. Some key takeaways: 1. Excellence has a price. We can complain about that, but it’s a fact of life. 2. Most people don’t want to pay that price. They just haven’t admitted it to themselves. 3. Saying you want to be excellent is easy. Becoming excellent is hard. 4. There may not be one way to become great, but there are very few. And they all have discipline and consistency in common. 5. Every action we take is a choice. We’re choosing to make progress, or we’re not. 6. The formula for becoming successful: Your Daily Choices x Time. It’s simple, but we make it complicated. 7. Sometimes we learn more by making the wrong choices. Reflect on them, pull out the lessons and move on. 8. You have to choose what you do every day. Don’t follow your feelings. BAD BODY LANGUAGE SCREAMS!! These clips from Auburns game last week stood out to me as a way to teach our players what it looks like when you have bad body language. As a development coach, I hope this young player learns from it, we all make mistakes as freshman in college… but it’s a great chance for others to see it and learn from it before they choose to do it. Basketball is a team sport. We don’t do a great job in the AAU world and in today’s game of stressing we over me. BASKETBALL IS A TEAM GAME!! YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO BE PART OF A TEAM. And ultimately that means you’ll have to sacrifice individual success. Choose to be a good teammate everyday and bring consistent positive energy and effort, and the universe will reward you!!

I see this comment now and then but pro or not, the argument is that the game CAN be played like that, due to a learning curve that recent games got rid of. You can pull it off if you want to and once you get the hang of it, this is what your gameplay can effortlessly look like.

Latest preview of Midnight Heist, a completely onchain pvp tactics game. (skip to 0:50 if you want to go straight to the fighting) We started development 4 months ago, and the game is fully functional on Polygon Mumbai testnet. How does it work? 1. You create the best team of 4 operators you can with a draft of operators, armor, weapons, and gadgets. 2. You submit your lineup and how your team positions itself on the map. This is hashed onchain. 3. You and your opponent reveal your hash, and the battle begins! 4. The battle is ran through our onchain battle engine, and then fed through to Unity to render your battle. 5. Check out a preview of a battle below! We will use September and October to add new features like account abstraction (huge for onchain games), Loot Boxes, NFT cosmetic integration, as well as balance and optimize the game. Will be launching into open beta in November. Really proud of our team and the pace and quality that we are shipping this game. Can't wait for you all to try it.

We've just released a new game patch with AI Roaming Critters, Iguanodon TLC, and Deinonychus TLC! Hunt to survive the new dynamically spawning Critters that have come to Panjura and Gondwa, including many new critter species like Wadiasaurus and Dynamosuchus. Critters will now chase you with dangerous attacks if you're small enough, and wander around the world in search of prey. We've also updated two dinosaurs from our roster.
