@CherokeeOwlBkup Fun. But I plant 100 tomato plants. Because I'm retarded and I ain't doing that

@CherokeeOwlBkup SO BASICALLY GARDENING TURNED INTO NUCLEAR BUNKER BUILDING FOR TOMATOES.

@CherokeeOwlBkup I can listen to this man all day. Love his accent and wisdom.

@CherokeeOwlBkup The first time I watch this I thought he just smashed his plant when he put the bucket over it lol.

@CherokeeOwlBkup It's obvious Mike isn't from Oklahoma. Those cover boards would end up in the next county with a nice spring storm. Good chance the buckets go flying also.

@CherokeeOwlBkup He s on facebook also, zone 7b in Tennessee.

@CherokeeOwlBkup Where do I find him - I donโt have tic toc

@CherokeeOwlBkup Allot of people will be learning how to garden ๐ชด. Better to do it now than try to learn after the SHTF. ๐ค

Compost - I take kitchen scraps. Throw it in a bucket and layer with dirt/processed city compost brush. Once full spread on ground and cover with dirt compost. After 6 months to a year the tomato seeds in the kitchen compost sprouted right on time for spring in south texas. This compost soil is very rich.

@CherokeeOwlBkup You know what really is just strange... I used to live in California - I dropped a tomato plant in the ground and it grew. No special planting, no special theatrics. I just grew the tomato plant. Now, I live where the sun isn't as hot - and I can't grow tomatoes to save my life!

@CherokeeOwlBkup for fucks sake buy grandpa a $100 greenhouse on amazon

@CherokeeOwlBkup awesome, but I started like know .. in AZ but we are going in the 90 to 100 already and yikes hard to grow here in summer time

@CherokeeOwlBkup Fun fact. You can grow tomatoes in planters. Take them in in the winter and have tomatoes by end of March.

@CherokeeOwlBkup Would not work in MN - we still can have below zero temps in March.

@CherokeeOwlBkup This is what I call Godโs work. We all know where our food come from then.

@CherokeeOwlBkup @FarmpalSteve

@CherokeeOwlBkup Farmer Mike: Donโt your tomatoes need sunshine? Cool video. Thanks.

@CherokeeOwlBkup Thank you

@CherokeeOwlBkup where do you live ? what zone

@CherokeeOwlBkup @TheAmyGriffith

@CherokeeOwlBkup Thatโs awesome

@CherokeeOwlBkup ๐good info

@CherokeeOwlBkup The covering them up is an issue because you can't count on it always just being rain. And I would not eat his tomatoes. Anything grown outside currently, is contaminated. More than what people that use weed killer etc already contaminate the food

@CherokeeOwlBkup You don't have to do all of this. If you grow from seed you can plant earlier. Plant in buckets with a mixture of good dirt and coco coir. Drill a few holes a couple of inches from the bottom for a water reserve. Water, fertilize and plenty of sun and you're good to go. ๐

@CherokeeOwlBkup @Hartford71 Not too much work? My starts can stay inside and grow til it warms up then I'll plant them without all that nonsense.. we had such a great crop last year I was giving boxes of tomotoes away to neighbors and family all season and still couldn't eat them all.

@CherokeeOwlBkup how early we talking

@CherokeeOwlBkup Neat!

@CherokeeOwlBkup I can vouch for this method

@CherokeeOwlBkup Appreciate the voice of experience ๐๐๐๐

@CherokeeOwlBkup good life
