The hardest part of V14 to explain to people is just how locked in and responsive it is. There is a step change here vs V13. The car is aware and calculating future moves so insanely fast. In this video, watch the moment my speedometer goes from 70 to 69mph. It recognizes the signaling of vehicle in the right lane, and before it even begins its slide into our lane, FSD is slowing to prepare its next move. It’s hard to explain this because you have to be in the car to feel how quickly the car shows you through movement and speed change that it is aware of what’s happening. I felt it even before you see the speedometer move. It’s almost instant. Way faster than humans and V13.

Did you know you can create the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution with just some balls and a motor? I built this simple device to illustrate it. This is how it works: A spinning agitator pumps energy into ~400 balls, so they bounce around and collide like gas particles in a box. They escape one at a time through a tiny hole, then fall a fixed gap into bins below. Since the hole is so small, every ball leaves with no vertical speed and takes the same time to fall. Constant fall time means how far a ball flies sideways is set purely by its speed. A faster ball goes into a further bin. So each bin is really a speed. Tally all 400 and you get the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution.

My friend Doug Merriman sent me this recording of him encountering a freaking HUNDO HERACROSS after a raid, only for it to FLEE after the FIRST BALL THROWN?! He tried multiple times to go back into the gym to reencounter it, up until the raid despawned and he hand no more chance to. What could possibly be the explanation for this glitch?! This is actually horrific and Niantic OWES this trainer his hundo heracross. Can you imagine if this happened to you?! I'm nauseous just thinking about it... This is completely unacceptable. Working on shit like ugly ass avatars and new catch screen backgrounds while glitches like these persist in the game?! These developers should be embarrassed and ashamed. Gemini Omni's motion control is f*cking cracked i just figured out how to turn 1 reference video into 50+ AI videos with the exact same movements... you have a video of someone eating, dancing, using a product, doing whatever complex motion you need. you feed it to Gemini Omni and it recreates that exact motion with a completely new AI character in literally one prompt i've tested this against Kling motion control and it's not even close. Kling falls apart the moment you try anything complex. eating scenes look weird, hand movements get mangled, anything multi-step breaks down completely. 🍋 Only TWO ingredients for the easiest lemon bars ever? Yes, and they taste like sunshine in dessert form! I saw this hack and had to try it — one box of angel food cake mix + one can of lemon pie filling. Mix, bake, done. No eggs, no fuss, and the result is light, tangy, and ridiculously addictive. Perfect for spring gatherings, potlucks, or when you need a quick sweet fix. Who else is obsessed with 2-ingredient recipes? The Actual 2-Ingredient Lemon Bars Recipe Ingredients (literally just these two): • 1 box (about 16 oz) angel food cake mix (the “just add water” kind — do NOT add water, eggs, or anything else) • 1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling (not lemon curd) Optional topping: Powdered sugar for dusting Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan (or line with parchment for easy removal). 3. The Actual 2-Ingredient Lemon Bars Recipe Ingredients (literally just these two): • 1 box (about 16 oz) angel food cake mix (the “just add water” kind — do NOT add water, eggs, or anything else) • 1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling (not lemon curd) Optional topping: Powdered sugar for dusting Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan (or line with parchment for easy removal). 3. Being a toddler can be such a frustrating thing. As expert observers, toddlers are keenly aware of the examples being set around them - and deeply motivated to be just like YOU. The good news is that, thanks to their rapidly transforming motor, cognitive, and language skills, much of this emulation becomes possible (at least in early forms). But with these skills also still very much in development, toddlers’ desires and expectations can sometimes come into conflict with their actual/current abilities. And that can be hard. So much of what we consider the “terrible twos” is rooted in this frustration. Which is why I love this video. This backyard zip line isn’t within little Lyra’s skill set. But you can totally see where she might feel left out as her siblings ride time and again. Enter grandma and grandpa, who - together, slowly, safely, and appropriately - enable her to experience just the thing she wants most: To be one of the big kids. And her delight is just palpable. It's not that you don't want to rotate the hips. There is rotation, but you have to be able to quickly decelerate that rotation and then transfer the momentum to your core for rotation. You want to stabilize the hips so your core can swing and make full use of concentration and ecentric strength. But the core can't be tense until the moment you strike. Otherwise, energy is lost. Or, to put it in physics terms, you want to maximize impulse by decreasing the time the force is applied to stop the momentum of your rotation. In my hiatus, I had figured that part out. That punching is effectively the same motion and muscle recruitment pattern as a golf swing, baseball swing, quarterback pass, or even bowling. What had always troubled me was understanding how to synchronize my feet with these movements. That's where Tom Yankello Boxing and his brilliant training comes into play. My development had always been limited by not understanding the mechanics of a rotational movement across the traverse plane of motion. Once I got that, I figured it out, I could way more easily absorb and understand boxing. I can actually learn how to fight.
