Volpe gets absolutely nothing on his throws because of his mechanics. Upper half opens up early, and he ends up guiding the ball to first on the throw because he has no power left by the time he’s releasing the ball. This along with his hesitancy to attack grounders basically gives the runner a few more steps to first than he should have by the time the ball is released.

This is not for military purposes, this is just creating chaos for innocent citizens by hitting a civilian infrastructure. The President of Ukraine is absolutely ready to play ball, to come to a deal with the Russians, which has to be acceptable for all parties, and particularly for Ukraine. But this [attack] makes you question whether the Russians are serious. Last night is a really bad signal.

With Callum Wilson set to depart #NUFC it’s probably time to forget the last year, and focus on the brilliant service he has provided for the club. Joined at a ‘dark time’ under an even worse manager, but that didn’t stop him from scoring a very good amount of goals for his circumstance, and being a standout player alongside the likes of Allan Saint-Maximin. Even after the takeover Wilson only excelled, going on to score 18 goals and claiming 5 assists in the season the Magpies reached the Champions League. Definitely the correct time for Callum Wilson to go his separate ways with Newcastle, but his goals and homage to the famous number 9 shirt will not be forgotten. 🫡
