Playing through Mario 3 again with Luigi in Advance 4 has been an absolute blast. One of my favorite games only better in many ways. Using Mr. L is the hard mode. I was wrong earlier, as his traction is from Lost Levels, but tuned, and it's so much... show more

Dia is quickly becoming one of my favorite descendants. her playstyle is unique enough where playing her is fun. In Void Erosion Purge, even in challenge mode, she just plows through enemies like nothing when you use the Ice Breaker. This is so far from being a perfect run! Still has a lot of room of improvements as I familiarize the spawning route for better pathing. #thefirstdescendant

So many of my favorite memories of the Masters involve Phil. I was a Phil guy, from the day he won as an amateur, up until the day he kinda lost his mind. This is still one of my favorite all-time Masters shots.

Tanny was soaking in some yard snuggles today. (His absolute favorite pastime) It's hard to tell from the video but his coat is growing back in and he is so incredibly soft. It's growing back in different lengths so he's got some pretty unruly locks but it's adorable.

Stephon Castle's flaw as a player is well documented But his impact on winning and his decision making in crunch time has hardly been a topic of discussion. It's easy to see why the Spurs trust him so much in the 4th quarter. Enjoy this short compilation from the last 3 games.

I heard many Uyghur songs during my recent trip to Xinjiang but this one was my absolute favorite: "Xohlayliya" by singer Abduwali Tohti. In fact it's genuinely now one of my favorite songs, period! I searched and the song seems completely unknown outside of China: as far as I could see, it's not referenced on any Western platform. Only on Chinese platforms like Douyin (here: This is such a shame so I decided to share it with you 👇

The contrast of the marine running away as his brother is in trouble, and Luffy rushing towards ace to save him, which affects the marine's decision, and the way ishitani presents it, is so brilliant on many levels "I still have my brother but strawhat lost his"

The Rockman Complete Works is a collection of re-releases of the six original NES games for the Playstation in Japan in 1999. Widely regarded as the best versions of these titles, they were the codebase for what was later released as Mega Man: The Anniversary Collection on PS2 and Gamecube in 2004. The Xbox version released the following year and is known as the best one. It let you remap your buttons, which the PSX games had while the others omitted. This anthology of titles features remixed music for each of the levels in 4 through 6, with a selection of The Power Battle / Fighters tracks available in the first three games for levels they had songs for. Just not on the Gamecube version. They say it's for space reasons, but evidence says it's buggy getting the tracks to start on cue. One of the coolest features of the PSX releases was the database. Something that was omitted from Anniversary and we wouldn't see anything close until the modern Legacy Collection. Even then it's a slightly diminished version. While playing across the titles originally, every enemy appearing on screen would be tracked on your save file. The compendium not only got deep on the lore, but percentage tiers unlock power ups like a Hyper Jump or Auto Charge for 4-6 to use in Navi Mode. Navi (navigator) mode presents arranged versions of the games with an updated HUD, quick-weapon and Rush changing, hazard alerts, as well as tidbits from characters like Dr. Light, Roll, Kalinka and Cossack on certain screens of the games. This was also the mode where the remixed music was locked to in Anniversary collection, while it's just the default setting for it in the Complete Works and can be toggled for each mode. There's a lot more I could get into with the whole Complete Works, which makes sense given the legacy of the Mega Man games. It's a shame this specific set of titles is locked away on the Playstation 1. Sony did make them available as-is without translation for the PS3 and PSP, but that's the only way you can officially buy them now and that window closes in 2027. I'm lucky I bought them. Looks incredible on my Vita! Shown here is Dive Man from 4 with its awesome remixed music. Holding RT (or Z on Gamecube, this works in Anniversary) while selecting Original or Navi mode has Mega Man let his hair down in the NES titles. #RetroGaming

Like many of you, this is my favorite track off #GreetingsFromAsburyPark I have to admit I was late to the game on this one, but definitely has become one of my favorite tracks. Some serious shredding by Bruce Springsteen on this performance! Lost In The Flood! #springsteen

A video of officers making an arrest near Euston earlier has been widely shared. Here it is from the officers’ perspective. One arrest in a crowd requires numerous officers and can involve unpredictable levels of physical and verbal resistance. It’s not as simple as many think.

Animation isn’t only about drawings. In the films of Disney, Miyazaki and more, so much relies on the way a scene is shot. That's an art form, fueled by competing theories. Miyazaki’s style is hugely influential — but it's one of many, as we explore: ─➤

Arkansas 6’3 Freshman Darius Acuff has had an extremely impressive start to his season. Through his first four games he’s averaging 20/3/5 while shooting 50% from the field and 42% from three on 6 attempts a game. Acuff has been one of the early best freshmen and draft prospects in college basketball this season, with his ability to score and playmake. Acuff has scored the ball on all 3 levels at an elite level, shooting 63% at the rim, 46% from the mid range and 42% from three all on high usage. He’s an advanced PNR operator and has been one of the best transition players in the country as well. Acuff’s craft as a creator for himself and his teammates is extremely impressive for his age. Acuff’s mix of 3 level scoring, playmaking , and pace for his age makes him one of the most talented players in this years draft and he’s made a strong case in being a potential top 10 pick.

Michael Eric Dyson has become a mentor and father to me. I met him at a rally when I was serving as the CBC Executive Director. I long admired his intellect and gift with words. In so many ways, he reminds me of Papa Rye! On this episode of #on1 we are talking about his incredible book, Long Time Coming, and talking through self care. He is one of my favorite humans. Thank God for my chosen family. 🙏🏾 Stay tuned for more #on1withAngelaRye!

Mr TERRIFIC was one of the best characters in the movie. I would like to see his solo movie. He is more of an Executioner than a Hero Would have said he is mr Aura but no one has better Aura than Batman in DC.

Harrison "And so a lot of Canadians are wondering, it's been 18 months now, roughly since the government was elected." "How has my life changed? How has my life been made better? Are we meeting the moment on things like a wartime effort on housing?" "That was something that the prime Minister ran and campaigned on." "And I would submit that there hasn't been as much progress on the domestic front as there may be in terms of MoUs and letters of intent with other countries." "But I think that Mr. Poilievre is just making the case that we need a Prime Minister for Canadians, not one that is consistently occupied by the international sphere." Kate Harrison

Govinda was once again seen dancing at a Dahi Handi event in Maharashtra this year. Many people are mocking him, saying he is doing it for money because his movies are no longer working. But according to my sources, Govinda is an active member of Shiv Sena, and the party has been using him for the last couple of years to attract people and the youth of Maharashtra. I don't understand what's wrong with dancing at a Dahi Handi event? It's better to dance at festivals than to dance for sheikhs in Dubai!!

hard disagree - the “be better scene” in ragnarok is one of the best scenes in a story video game. it shows how much atreus has developed as a character and LEARNS from his father, the smile from Kratos seals the deal. it’s a beautiful scene, absolute cinema…
