@ecobuildhvac Ummm...aren't those things supposed to be outside?

@ecobuildhvac You’re asking too many questions

@ecobuildhvac It’s like an ancient demon that has been imprisoned for thousands of years

@ecobuildhvac and its secret power is increasing your electric bill

I have a bigger problem with condensing units inside the attic than the sound reduction. But. Seeing as there is a ductless split right next to it ; maybe it’s common practice where ever this is filmed. You can see they clearly used noise reduction brackets / springs at first. I bet there was even a compressor insulator blanket used. I’d also be willing to be. Some very annoying women works or sleeps right below that and after the 19th call back for “it’s too loud”. Someone just needs to just solve the problem - solved it. While a bunch of you computer idiots who don’t know what the difference between a txv and a filter drier is say oh that looks like shit. (And it does). But whoever did this job. Got the annoying wife to quit calling the office about a compressor being 6 feet over her head.

@ecobuildhvac yeah condensor in an attic is crazy lol

I worked in commercial and industrial hvac for High rises. You’d have multi million dollar condos with water source heat pumps in every room in the apartment. Including the bedrooms. Which meant there was a compressor right next to Mrs. Smith Head where she slept. The amount of shit I’ve done to make a compressor quiet is baffling. The solution is don’t put them near people heads. In walls. Or attics.

@ecobuildhvac Non suspended variation

@ecobuildhvac A close cousin

@ecobuildhvac Looks nicely installed to me. Kudos to those elite techs who did the work 🤣🤣

@ecobuildhvac lol you’re not wrong on the elite part

@ecobuildhvac In all seriousness, I wonder if this was to cut down on vibrations to the ceiling. A little janky, but might be an improvement in this situation.

@ecobuildhvac yeah it'll vibrate less while it slowly dies in that attic lol

@LPunov @ecobuildhvac Only has to work long enough for the warranty to run out.

@LPunov @ecobuildhvac lol I love it

@ecobuildhvac That is called suspended HVAC. It was introduced as part of faster building methods, cheap lavor and lower construction costs.

@ecobuildhvac Invented by the Egyptians, maybe?

@CarlosPere52517 @ecobuildhvac When you need to cool your house but also live in a high seismic area and need a tuned mass damper

@CarlosPere52517 @ecobuildhvac Yeah center of gravity

@ecobuildhvac Suspended unit good for airflow

@ecobuildhvac offsets the attic

@EverIntrigued @ecobuildhvac Well thats not gonna work 😂

@ecobuildhvac @BigDickBarclay

@ecobuildhvac Damn, it found its way inside and built a web. I've heard of this happening.

@ecobuildhvac Makes me think about all the wiring and plumbing I’ve done at my house.

@ecobuildhvac Probably growing cannabis in the house illegally

@ecobuildhvac You and i both know AI hasn't come up with this kind of stupid on it's own. Only man has. Only thing you can do about this one, is crack a cold one with a work partner, sit on a ledge together, and pat eachother on the back. Title the moment "Tears Of Mental Pain".

@ecobuildhvac The Turing test: HVAC version

@ecobuildhvac That’ll be a toasty attic!

@ecobuildhvac Hey, they left the fake dormer window open for it to dissipate heat. Wonder what the difference in efficiency and longevity is between this oddball setup and having them outside in direct sunlight?

@ecobuildhvac I mean technically this would work…At least until it falls through your ceiling, crushing you in your sleep.

@ecobuildhvac @BigDickBarclay Wanna have an aneurysm?

@ecobuildhvac @BigDickBarclay It’s not that bad if you don’t think about it

@ecobuildhvac @BigDickBarclay I think this is a pretty good example of my mental state right now.

@ecobuildhvac How many times was it stolen before they moved it to the attic?

@ecobuildhvac Hellraiser's HVAC.

@ecobuildhvac Flying the condenser dampens the vibration (noise). Good thought, poor execution. Happens to all of us.

@ecobuildhvac It keeps the roof from flying over

@ecobuildhvac I’ve done that before! It’s the only way to get the vibration out!

@ecobuildhvac That will teach those crackheads from stealing the copper from my unit

@ecobuildhvac @MyRoosterWisdom

@ecobuildhvac That ain’t going anywhere

@ecobuildhvac And if it does, those shocks will catch it lol

@ecobuildhvac Doubles as a centre mass pendulum dampener in the event of an earthquake

@ecobuildhvac I was thinking the same thing

@ecobuildhvac Gonna tag @BigDickBarclay for his expert opinion on wtf is going on.

@ecobuildhvac That's seismic proof.

@ecobuildhvac Great head pressure in August I’ll bet..

@ecobuildhvac I've seen a condenser on top of an office inside a warehouse, an entire package unit in the attic of a Florida home too. Several times seen mini-split condensers above drop ceilings of multi-story businesses cooling small server rooms in rented office spaces.

@ecobuildhvac Hey if it works don’t fix it

@ecobuildhvac Please tell me by adding gay music does it make the video better?

@ecobuildhvac When the HVAC guy has an arts degree
