The replies to this tweet are something... ⬆️ As I've said recently, there's been a massive increase in trolling comments on climate science tweets in the last few weeks/months Data info can be answered at Source code is free at

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate It's a snapshot in a very short space of/geo time. It means nothing unless you can go back millions of years and compare cycles The Solar system rotates on a cycle of 250million years. One volcano puts more CO2 in the atmosphere than all humans, ever. What do you really know?

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate Cool. Any chance you could do a version going back to the Roman Warming Period? Or might that spoil the effect?

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate Now do that graphic again starting 10,000 years ago. You’ll see the opposite effect.

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate Oh my goodness, a scary graphic with lots of red to make it extra scary. Maybe have some more red to make it even scarier…….like the BBC does.

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate You people act as if this hasn't happened in the past. We've also seen the complete opposite effect as well. Just 40 years ago climatologists were predicting another ice age. Weather also known as climate is cyclical. Always has been Always will be.

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate I noticed you started 1880, which is when the planet was at its coolest in 10,000 years. Back then it was 4c warmer than it is now, who is to blame for that, the Egyptians.

@NASAViz @NASAGISS @NASAClimate What caused the ice age to end and vast ice fields to melt? Was that man-made climate change? Oh wait... Nice data cherry picking btw.
