Carney says separation is a dangerous bluff and Ottawa is reviewing the question under the Clarity Act. That contrast tells you everything. Albertans are not angry because Ottawa listens too much. They are angry because Ottawa lectures, judges, reviews, delays, blocks, taxes, and then acts shocked when the country starts cracking. Then Carney calls the anger a bluff. That should go well.

Today, PM Mark Carney will talk about "nation building" projects, but don't be fooled. His Liberals blocked, delayed, or killed $176 billion in at least 16 major resource projects. If PM Carney really wants to make Canada an energy superpower, he must repeal the anti-development Liberal laws that have strangled Canadian growth and kept resources in the ground.
