i understand the concept, but i’ve never actually had to use a pointer to a pointer on the job, are there some use cases that make the most sense?

also one things that fucked me up really bad when you send pointer to a function does not send the pointer but makes another pointer that points to the same memory so you can't do things ptr++ hopefully helpful to somebody very new to this please correct if missing something
