Lukashenko threatened a “full-scale war” with Poland over its plans to shoot down Russian aerial objects. “If they hit something over Kaliningrad, we’ll have to fight, as they say in Russia, ‘with all we’ve got.’ Is that what they want? I hope they calm down,” he said, warning that Belarus would not stand aside if NATO takes action against Russian aircraft. Bla bla bla.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Almost done: Poland will trade its old fighter jets for Ukrainian drones The two countries are close to an agreement. Warsaw will hand over its MiG-29s to Kyiv in exchange for a batch of drones and access to Ukrainian drone technology. The fighter jets could be transferred within weeks. Just a month ago, negotiations were at a standstill. Poland wanted military know-how in exchange for aircraft that would otherwise have been scrapped. Ukraine, however, was reluctant to share its technology. Poland is still playing it safe — Warsaw fears that, because of the war, Ukraine could invoke force majeure and ultimately keep the drones.

Russian Official and Putin Aide Nikolai Patrushev stated today that if Poland entered a war against Russia, Moscow would use its full military arsenal and Polish statehood would end in two or three days. The warning was issued in response to Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski's statements about Poland’s military strength together with Europe's strength to strike Russia's energy targets and Moscow would be defeated in six months. Kremlin official did not mention about using nukes but the phrasing of Russia using its full military arsenal is like a nuclear strike on Warsaw not conventional war. SNYDER: Ukraine is not member of NATO, but Ukraine is doing all of the work of NATO right now only with its own armed forces. Ukraine is basically fulfilling the entire mission of NATO, with help of course, but not with anybody else's soldiers. We've essentially gotten used to the idea, all the countries in the region have now gotten used to Ukraine defending them. And if Ukraine loses the war, then Russian aggression towards not just Baltic states but Poland and Romania becomes quite possible. And if we take that for granted, if we let Ukraine down, if Ukraine were actually to lose this war, then Russia would digest important economic gains, territorial gains, technological gains, and sadly also demographic gains, which would make it qualitatively greater threat to Romania. And Russian victory in Ukraine would also be, if not a death blow, then certainly a very heavy blow to NATO itself, leaving Romania much more likely to be isolated when it's facing Russia, which, I don't have to tell you, has historically not been a great situation for Romania.

Polish PM Donald Tusk said Poland’s army “will soon become the largest in Europe.” Poland, which shares a border with Russia and has been invaded and occupied by Russian and Soviet forces multiple times in the past, is one of the few European countries seriously preparing for a potential war with Russia.
