According to Polish authorities, around 15,000 migrants were present in Belarus in November 2021, with 2,000 to 4,000 stranded directly at the border. Last year, the Polish Sejm significantly expanded the powers of border guards, military and police officers in the fight against illegal migration. According to LRT, border guards in southeastern Lithuania detected unusual ground vibrations, raising suspicions that an underground passage was being excavated from the Belarusian side. 🔹 Lithuanian officials requested assistance from Polish specialists equipped with underground detection technology.
