This clip documents the January 2, 2024 runway collision that occurred at Tokyo Haneda Airport on Runway 34R. JAL Flight 516 an Airbus A350-900, was executing a routine landing. The Japan Coast Guard's De Havilland Canada Dash 8 was preparing to take off on an earthquake relief mission. However, the Coast Guard Dash 8 entered the active runway directly in the path of the landing Airbus A350. The A350 struck the smaller aircraft upon touchdown, causing both planes to burst into flames. All 379 passengers and crew members of the A350 were safely evacuated in a textbook emergency evacuation. Five of the Coast Guard Dash 8's crew members lost their lives, while the captain survived with severe injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that the Coast Guard crew believed they had been cleared to enter the runway. Meanwhile, air traffic control did not notice the runway incursion, and the JAL flight crew spotted the Dash 8 only moments before impact.

As Hyderabad grew, flyovers were built and new roads were laid, eventually separating traffic from the runway and leaving it exclusively for airport operations. Flight VN34 was departing for Hanoi when the aircraft rotated very late, lifting off near the end of Runway 26L. Ground footage shows the main landing gear coming off the runway with a cloud of dust behind it. There are reports that the aircraft may have struck equipment beyond the runway, potentially damaging runway lights and possibly the aircraft itself, though the reports aren't verified yet. After takeoff, the crew stopped the climb at around 9,000 ft and entered a holding pattern near Munich, likely to assess the situation and burn fuel. Definitely not a normal takeoff, and the footage shows just how close to the end of the runway the 787 lifted off.

A Frontier Airlines flight bound for LAX hit a person on the runway during takeoff from Denver International Airport on Friday. The Airbus A321 was taking off from runway 17L when it appeared to strike an individual walking on the runway. The pilot quickly aborted the takeoff. Passengers were evacuated on the runway and are being bused back to the terminal. Fire crews were dispatched to the aircraft to extinguish the engine fire. Royal Air Maroc Boeing 787-9 (CN-RGY), flight RAM201N to Casablanca, was unable to take off from JFK Airport's Runway 4L due to a nose wheel steering problem. Richard "Beebo" Russell (1989 - 2018) In August 2018, Richard “Beebo” Russell, a 29-year-old ground service agent at Seattle Airport, using his ground clearance, he got into the cockpit of a Horizon Air Q400 aircraft. Even though he had never operated an aircraft before, he managed to start the plane, taxi it onto the runway, and take off. For about 75 minutes, he flew around the Puget Sound area while talking calmly with air traffic control. He kept the plane over open water and unpopulated areas, never meaning to harm others. To the dismay of everyone watching, the untrained Russell performed a successful backflip coming only several feet from the water.
