Polygon has now processed nearly 7.6 BILLION transactions. 2026 has been an exciting year for Polygon | POL from several standpoints - one of those being onchain activity. Not only has the network now processed 7.57 billion total transactions per Chainspect data... ... it recently announced it can now support 5,000 payments per second and block times of around 1.5 seconds. At the same time, $POL has seen serious stablecoin growth, now the 8th largest network by stablecoin market cap, at around $3.35 billion.

This is not true for Polygon | POL however, which has seen its stablecoin supply surge by more than +8% in the past seven days, reaching a total of some $3.678 billion at time of writing. $POL is now the 8th largest chain for stablecoin supply, and is close to flipping Arbitrum for the #7 spot.

This wallet pilot already supports: > Instant Fiat-to-Fiat: Seamless transfers across Africa. > USDA-to-Fiat: Direct conversion for real-world spending at almost every retailer > Multi-Currency Support: Instant payments to 7 different fiat currencies. Using a credit card internationally would have cost over 14% in fees, plus 5 days in settlement for the Merchant. With USDA, fees were under 1% and settled instantly.
