He is a director that makes you sink into his world of darkness and his demons. It is okay when you are young, because you are excited to go there. RIP Sam Neill (1947-2026) I Just heard the news of Sam Neill's passing. He was an exceptionally gifted & versatile actor who starred in many great movies. His acting in "Possession" (1981) alongside Isabelle Adjani will always remain one of the greatest horror performances of all time. I can't think of any other actor who could have pulled off this mad movie convincingly; especially with Żuławski at the helm. "Possession" was also his personal favourite among his works.
