🙌NATIONAL CHAMPIONS🙌 We did it!! The virtual Miami Hurricanes WIN the CFP National Championship over Ole Miss 30-17 in the COACH COOP PLAYS season. This game was a BATTLE. The Rebels scored on the very first play of the game and DOMINATED us in the 1st half. We went into the locker room down 17-3, but NO ONE plays better 2nd half football than a Coach Coop led Canes team. We scored 27 unanswered points to bring the trophy back to South Florida where it belongs! #GoCanes

Chad Johnson and Joe Johnson both make a pitch for LeBron James to join the Miami Heat👀 Ocho: “you wanna make this last dance your best dance…when they add other pieces around Bron to go with Bam and Giannis — is Miami…LeBron is not going to the goddamn West…his easiest way to have a chance at another title…would be down in Miami…” Joe: “I kind of understand where Ocho is coming from…considering the fact Cleveland doesn’t have the perimeter defenders…I think Miami has a nice attractive team…they’re going to add some guys…” (via Nightcap)

Edna Karr Cougars own back-to-back state titles, and a 27-game win streak. With spring football starting this week in Algiers, last season is in the rear view mirror. Three-year starting QB John Johnson is at the University of West Virginia. It's a two man race to find his successor, it's between rising juniors Marlon Jones and Forest Johnson.

Joe Johnson and Josh Smith say Bam left LeBron off his top 5 list because he didn’t choose Miami👀 Smith: “He probably mad Bron didn’t come down there to South Beach and mess with him. He salty man — might be a little salty man. Salt kills snails, not players.” Joe: “Bam definitely must be salty because Bron didn’t pick Heat.” (via Nightcap)

Lacarea Pleasant-Johnson is one of the most UNDERRATED CB’s to come out of the FCS. Pleasant-Johnson, who is the nephew of Tony Dungy (HOF) just declared for the 2025 NFL Draft last night. Pleasant-Johnson is reportedly able to reach in-game speeds up to 22.4 MPH (with a 79’5 wingspan and 34’5 arm) and says that he “models” his game after Richard Sherman. Many NFL scouts reportedly believe Pleasant-Johnson could end up “sneaking into the 4-5 round” on draft day. Pleasant-Johnson also didn’t allow a single 100-yard game across his ENTIRE college career. Pleasant-Johnson will be a draft day STEAL and could enter the NFL as one of the fastest CB’s 😳

Canes Fam, just know, had Miami pulled out the last drive in the title game, the trolls from the other programs would just shift. It would turn into “Miami couldn’t win a Natty again until the NIL”, or “the Refs”.. we all have to keep that it mind with them flooding the TLs.. Many of these fanbases are going through it, especially if their favorite team has very little hope. Just listen to people that actually understand what the Hurricanes just did and what the last two seasons mean for the near future. #GoCanes #TheUIsHere

Things are heating up. Company has arrived. Making some coffee for Mintzy. I’ve never seen someone so excited for a game. This is his pregame key for Ole Miss Football tonight. Own the lines. He hasn’t had caffeine yet. Time to bump it up a notch. Not sure if we’re getting a FaceTime with Lane Kiffin, BUT… 2-time Stanley Cup Champion Jon Cooper has agreed to give Danny Boy Cane a FaceTime for a pre game speech to wish him luck before the big game. This could sway momentum. Mintzy FINAL SCORE PREDICTION Ole Miss 34 Miami 24 #hottytoddy #fiestabowl

“He thinks a shot with two dudes hanging you is a shot that he can make” -Eddie Johnson Luka Doncic has averaged 27.5 attempts per game in his last 11 games. The Lakers are 10-1 over that span w/ wins against Orlando, Miami, Houston (2x), Denver, Minnesota, and New York. When his volume goes up, so does his efficiency. He’s setting the NBA on fire, and they’re still burying him. He’s carrying this Lakers team. This is unprecedented. The disrespect has to stop. (SiriusXM NBA Radio— Eddie A Johnson)

Former 49ers QB Josh Johnson revealed he got a brain bleed and 2 concussions during the NFCCG against the Eagles “Most people don’t know that I was double concussed in that game. The first sack I took was the play action pass and Haason Reddick came off the edge and hit me. My head hit the ground and I actually lost the ball on that play. I ended up with a brain bleed.” Josh’s thoughts heading into the game: “I’m looking at this game like an Oakland kid who grew up a 49ers fan, I’m in the NFC Championship, I’m trying to win this game and get to the Super Bowl. This is a dream come true.” via: Ross Tucker Podcast

NEW: Miami Beach police chief Wayne Jones defends sending detectives to a woman's house over her "inflammatory" social media post. Viral footage shows detectives interrogating a woman for her posts, asking if she was the one who shared them. "Given the real, ongoing national and international concerns surrounding antisemitic attacks and recent rhetoric that has led to violence against political figures," Jones said. The post was a comment about Miami Mayor Steven Meiner. Jones said he "directed two of his detectives to initiate a brief, voluntary conversation regarding certain inflammatory, potentially inciteful false remarks made by a resident to ensure there was no immediate threat to the elected official or the broader community that might emerge as a result of the post." The woman in question is Raquel Pacheco, an activist in Miami and a former political candidate. Pathetic.

Darius Robinson was pretty much a non-factor, not only in the preseason game but also throughout the first two seasons of his #Cardinals career. There were a few snaps where the Raiders had WRs assigned to block D-Rob, and they had no issues doing so. On the Raiders’ big run, D-Rob was put on his ass by 2025 3rd-round pick Charles Grant out of William & Mary, who is a backup tackle for the Raiders. If he wasn’t drafted #27 overall, he probably would’ve been cut based on the body of work he has put on tape. This is a make-or-break year for D-Rob. He was a 5-year college player who broke out in his final season after moving from the interior to the edge. His best reps at the Senior Bowl also came on the edge. I don’t think it’s going to work inside. I’d like to see him moved back to the edge. With the current edge rotation, is there really any downside to trying it? All of his snaps from the Raiders preseason game below. #RiseUpRedSea #AZCardinals
