This was Brock Purdy's best game. Not from a box score standpoint, but he ran out of countless sacks and bailed the offense out on third down numerous times. Some of his best decisions were throwaways. He had 7 throwaways in the game, matching his season total. It wasn't a great game for the 49ers WRs or the running game. That meant Purdy would need to make plays while playing within himself on obvious passing downs. He did. On 3rd & 5 or longer, from the two-minute drill on, Purdy went 6-for-8 with five first downs and a TD in a windy road game vs. a top 5 passing defense. Here are 5 of those third down throws. Quality bounce back after last week.

🇺🇸 On this IndependenceDay, while America celebrates freedom, one of our own is fighting for his personal independence — the freedom to walk again. Covington County, Mississippi Deputy Rodney was shot in the line of duty on June 8th. The bullet went through his back left shoulder, lodged under his right clavicle, and struck his spinal cord at C3-C4. From his hospital bed at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, he looks straight into the camera and says it’s an incomplete tear, so he does believe he’ll walk again — although it will take a miracle. He can’t feel from his chest down, but he’s already feeling sensation in his feet here and there. He’s choosing faith over fear, working as hard as he can every single day, and committing to daily updates to inspire others. This young warrior (recently married) is trusting God through it all. An 18 year old told his dad he needed an Apple Vision Pro for university. Dad said that's a $3,500 movie headset, you don't need it for school. He said it runs macOS apps natively. Dad didn't know what that means. Bought it for graduation. $3,500. He never watched a single movie on it. Installed VS Code and Claude Code the same night. Threw six floating screens around his bedroom. Lay down in bed and started coding from under the sheets with his bare hands tapping air. At second 0:11 you can see his hand swipe across a floating file explorer. Behind it five more windows are open. All running Claude Code agents on different projects. Took me a week to write this, but I know I gotta. A loss like this hasn’t rocked me with such severity in quite a long time, but if you knew Jojo you wouldn’t blame me. JORDAN ST.⚜️ was a special young man, one I’ve known since he was 19 years old and I’ve seen grow up in front of my very eyes. From an admittedly very annoying hyperactive kid who acted on impulse with a good heart and right intentions, to a young man figuring it out, getting all the pieces in place and putting his passions in line with his morals. This is a young man. I would see multiple times a year including his self professed “home promotion” of Naptown All Pro-Wrestling and whom I would talk to at least once a week every week. Someone who in his words considered me mentor & folk like myself Wave Meltzer, FC🕘, & Letrell… distant big brothers. He, I, and a litany of others would discuss anything coming to his mind from wrestling, to music, to movies, to anime, to relationships, to politics, to life in general. And while he would often find ways to piss me off, there was always good intentions behind the things that he said, and the things that he did. This week has been particularly rough as he passed two days before the next time I was supposed to see him in person at the most recent NAP show and I had to come to terms on Wednesday, our usual day of conversation, that he simply wouldn’t be on the phone with me that night… or ever again I miss my kid man. I’ll miss his weird opinions, his outspokenness, his wild ideas, his seemingly endless in-ring potential, and his ceaseless love for the things and people he was passionate about. This past Sunday’s NAP show was dedicated to him and every show after will be for him. Took a week to mourn and mourn I did struggling to get out of bed and countless tears dropped over his memory but in Jordan Saint fashion I must get back to working and acting quick. I already know you’d be laughing at how I been acting up over you and telling me “fuck up nigga what you doing” I love you Jojo and I’ll miss you lil brother. 🖤⚡️4️⃣♾️

Last month, I shared a bit here about how my 17-year-old son has a passion for video game development and has spent hundreds of hours over the last 9 months creating his first game for release. Well, I want to let you know that Nitro Turtles is now out! It's a party racing game (kind of like Mario Kart) and has 9 courses, a speedrun mode with online leaderboards, and split screen/online multiplayer. My husband and I played all 9 courses against each other last night and IT WAS SO FUN! I'm so proud of him for the accomplishment. He has a really demanding junior year schedule of AP/Dual Credit/Honors classes, has straight As, and somehow managed to develop this all on his own out of pure passion. He started teaching himself programming in 3rd grade and just developed his skills from there. Nitro Turtles in the culmination of all the subsequent years of self-driven learning. If you or your kids play computer games, I would love for you to check the game out on Steam!

One more #HusbandSuicide from Greater Noida. 38 year old Software engineer Shatrughan Sinha, a native of Patna jumped from the balcony of his 16th floor flat in Paramount Emotions Society of Greater Noida and ended his life because of continuous fights with his wife Gulshan Rathore and Sister in Law who too was staying in the same flat. No suicide note was found but his wife claimed that he was Jobless since last few months and she was the one who was running the house. On that day he was drunk and tried to assault her and when her sister tried to save her then the husband attacked her sister with a knife. Wife claimed that she called the Police and after that the husband got scared and jumped from the balcony. Does not this sound like a Manohar Kahani? When there is no suicide note then why not this be treated as a case of Husband Murder instead of Suicide. It may be possible that his wife along with her sister threw him from the Balcony. When a husband can take care of his wife and family for whole life then why can not a working wife can support a husband even for few months in the case of his job loss? If a wife will commit suicide in similar circumstances then the husband as well as his entire family will be arrested immediately but here the wife is projected as a victim by the media. POLICE COMMISSIONERATE GAUTAM BUDDH NAGAR needs to investigate this case with all possible angles.

Brinks driver steals 100,000 in cash from his route gets arrested. Brian Anson Miller, a 35-year-old former security driver for Brinks, who was arrested following the disappearance of $104,000 in cash. Brian was booked for a short 13 stop route and was given 5 ATM bags to run the ATMs on his route. While on his route toward Panama City, Miller reportedly aborted his scheduled stops and made an unauthorized 11-minute detour to a rest area on I-10. Internal surveillance footage from the armored truck allegedly showed Miller exiting the vehicle with a company-issued cash transport bag and returning with a personal backpack that appeared "full and heavy." He was then seen stuffing a jacket on top of the bag to conceal the contents. Brian ended his route earlier telling the supervisor that his child was sick. After completing his modified route, Miller returned to the facility but only checked in the four original bags. Over the following weekend, Miller resigned via a message to his supervisor and allegedly tossed his uniforms over the facility fence. Brinks security contacted Miller about the missing money. He reportedly hung up the phone and refused further contact. Deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office located Miller leaving his home and initiated the traffic stop shown in the footage. During the search, they found over $900 in cash on him, primarily in $20 bills. Miller was charged with first-degree felony grand theft of over $100,000. At the time of his arrest, he denied involvement, claiming the unauthorized stop was simply to use the restroom and suggesting the company frequently misplaced money. He was later released on a $50,000 bond pending trial. We will revisit this one after his trail.
