When asked today about whether there had been a "massive failure" in the gun licensing process in NSW, Chris Minns who basked in cheers and applause at the Bondi memorial now vaguely says "there was a real mess in relation to the bureaucracy". Isn't he responsible for that bureaucracy? Any enquiry needs to ask, whether we really need more laws or would things have been different if the existing ones were just properly enforced.

Sad reality of India is that no one listens to Narendra Modi any more - had it been so - 19yr old #AryanMishra from Delhi NCR - would have been alive today. PM had WARNED US IN CLEAR TERMS that 70-80% of all cow protectors were just anti-social elements and that a dossier on them should be made. Had that file been made - had these terrorists been arrested - a young boy would not have lost his life in such a senseless manner - mistaken for a cattle smuggler. The next time you or your loved one is out at night - even in the Capital region of India - you might just get shot dead for no reason / no fault of yours. Remember that.
