Kristi Noem should resign. United States Senator Alex Padilla identified himself and said he had a question for the Secretary before Noem's goons pushed him out and handcuffed him. This is a shameful abuse of power by the executive to block oversight by legislative officials.

This is beyond alarming. A sitting U.S. senator being tackled and handcuffed simply for exercising oversight duties should outrage every American, regardless of party. When accountability is met with force, democracy is in danger. And the silence from leadership—especially Chuck Schumer—is deafening. Where is the defense of our institutions? Where is the outrage from those sworn to uphold them? If we don’t push back now, we set a dangerous precedent for the future. This cannot be normalized.
