There may be increasing spiritual confusion and deception, but the greater issue is this: people are not ready. God is patient. He is not trying to keep people out, He is calling them in. There is still time to turn, to come back, and to walk in fellowship with Him. Sin doesn’t just affect behavior, it affects relationship.
