I haven't seen anyone say anything about the miracle EDGARD ZAYAS pulled off by staying on WHITE ABARRIO. Anyone who doesn't understand that jockey's are some of the greatest athletes on the planet just isn't watching.

This is so petty. He made a bad accident into a rant against Sierra Leone and the rabbit. Mixed in with some sympathy to Irad to cover his rant. He blamed the 6 for entering. Rabbits have existed forever. Do better Mike.

I disagree. Rabbits are used in racing all over the world and have been for eons... Kendrick should look out for his and other jockeys safety first before anything. PERIOD. He did not.

Pasture prayers for Irad... That is pain beyond belief after being clipped, with the way physics works falling vertically then taking a side hit. Irad's strong, He'll recover in time. But it's so damned painful.

I understand his frustration, he’s not wrong about rabbits. I do think there should be a rule that if you are not in the race to try to win you can’t enter but that would be hard to enforce. Rabbits have been in racing forever. At the end of the day it was the careless riding of Kendrick Carmouche that was the problem. Carmouche screwed everyone including Gus and the owners of his own horse who now lost 3rd purse money.

You are blaming the rabbit, instead of what Kendrick did. Come on? Really?

Pray for IRAD indeed. I thought the first part of that speech was well thought through and well presented. I thought the 2nd half was partisan passion and nonsense. It's not for competitors to decide who can and cannot enter a race or question how they give themselves the best possible chance at winning. At the end of the day. I respect @RepoleStable for standing up and giving everyday fans an insiders look into the best sport on the planet.

Emotional support rabbit lol. Thank God Irad will be alright. Good thing Sierra Leone tried to jump over him too. Was watching the race live and couldn't believe Irad almost made it back on Mindframe. Jockeys are definitely athletes too. In case you didnt know.

All I know is one horse had to hurdle a jockey….and was by exit 14 when they turned for home…….and almost won…… Sierra Leone 🏇🏻

This is dangerous talk. Pray for Irad? Absolutely! But the rest of it? Man. Not good. Not good at all. Downright scary, in fact.

Not the place or the time for your over emotional thoughts. This should have been just about Irad’s and any of the horses health and done. Wait a day or two before any other personal opinions. No issue with this tomorrow but now just wasn’t the time.

Respectfully hope Irad is ok, these things happen in racing… but the only reason Sierra Leone ran 2nd was bc the spill pushed him back 5-6 lengths or more with slowing momentum. Wouldn’t be gloating about him running 2nd - that’s a cheap shot

Appreciate your response. Rabbits are used all the time; not the horse's fault. Jocks are riding really aggressively nowadays, putting horses and riders in serious jeopardy. It needs to stop.

you just blamed carmouche by saying he carelessly turned then said it was contrary thinking’s fault. i’m confused mike. and at the end, a shot at SL. who holds the classic over both mindframe and fierceness. not sure how you want him to overcome that shitshow.

The obsession over “the rabbit” is a load of shit. You want to be the face of racing? Do better. If you ever own a deep closer you’ll run one, too. Don’t like rabbits? Get horses that can rate.

I like Repole’s horses, but lay off Sierra Leone. He’s as game as they come. I pray Irad heals up quickly. Carmouche appeared to be reckless in this one and it could have been much worse. A long suspension is likely warranted.

Come on big dawg, why even mention the rabbit? It was all on your boy Kendrick.

Kendrick has been careless and at times intentional hurting horses and people. First to cry about reckless riding, but forgets he has dropped people intentionally. Needs major days .

I'm sorry dude. Totally wrong Judge on panel here. If Chad wanted to run a mule, his right. This is HORSE racing speaking to knowledged players? Its v unfortunate, but the onus for all this was Kendrick. N he knows it.

You fucking dick. You can't say a horse had no chance of winning. Who the fuck are you. You wanna know what's wrong with racing? YOU! Go away, and don't ever come back you fat fuck.

Ridiculous statement by the self proclaimed “commish” he hates Sierra Leone and Chad Brown because they beat Fierceness in the classic last year. You don’t think Pletcher has ever used a rabbit? Poor loser as usual!!

Talking about people not knowing they are betting rabbits is kind of ridiculous. That's on the handicapper. Every situation is different.

I understand your consternation with the break of TJCGC, but rabbits have been a part of racing for generations. Usually they were always entries but due to the dwindling field sizes they want connections to run two separate interest. Your speed horse was compromised in this case
