The real accident which was later re-used for movies... June 23 1951: a US Navy F9 [Reg. “125228”] crashes attempting to land on carrier USS Midway, off Virginia (US). Pilot George C. BREAKING: Houston police responded early Wednesday at William P. Hobby Airport after a Delta Air Lines passenger attempted to enter the cockpit on a flight to Atlanta. According to the Houston Police Department, officers were called at 5:38 a.m. about a passenger attempting to enter the cockpit. The plane had briefly taken off before turning back to the airport.
