Today, we’re sharing the history of Foundation Labs, written from our perspective as founders. We continue applying our long-range sanctions against Russian facilities that serve the war effort and finance the aggression. Last night, in Russia's Saratov, more than 600 kilometers from the front line, two strategic facilities were hit: the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Engels military air base. In the Kaluga region, the tank farm of the Lyudinovskaya oil depot was hit. In the Bryansk region, our warriors also carried out a precise strike on a site used to store, prepare, and launch attack drones. Systematically, step by step, we help destroy the enemy's air defense systems. On July 20, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a precise and well-planned operation using an FP-1 strike drone. As a result, several important elements of russian air defense were destroyed at once: a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system, Kasta-2E2 and Gamma-S1M radar stations and two Nebo-SV units. This is not just a list of destroyed equipment. Each of these targets was part of a single system designed to detect threats, transmit coordinates and provide air cover for the occupying forces. After the strike, the enemy lost both the "eyes" watching the sky and part of its air defense shield at the same time. Flawless planning, precise calculation and professional mission execution have once again demonstrated the skill of Ukraine's defenders. Where the occupiers relied on radars and missiles, FP-1 left behind silence, wreckage and a blind spot. Mission accomplished.

We have 6 different models of CNC machines already designed and validated for production but we would need crores to scale up production and offer it to other manufacturers. Hence, we only build machines for our own production facility. Capital is a bottleneck for us. Currently we just have a tiny space within our own factory which is our R&D lab. We are a team of mere three people. Scaling hardware isn’t easy but it’s something that must be done for us to truly be self-reliant. Really appreciate your efforts Sridhar Vembu to build these hardware tools here. We must build more factories and hardware products in the country. Long way to go before I sleep.

That’s why today I am proud to announce the BUILD Act with Supervisor Bilal Mahmood—a legislative package that will unlock stalled housing projects and create thousands of good union jobs. The BUILD Act will reform the transfer tax to incentivize investment in these housing projects and buildings downtown—stimulating new jobs for electricians, plumbers, and laborers. And we will put forward a ballot measure in November to ensure that transfer tax is paid on properties in foreclosure so we can offset revenue impacts. Our politicians used to take our workers and our families for granted. But those politicians are gone, and those days are over. We are now creating the conditions for our city’s success. By passing the BUILD Act, we will take the next step, creating the jobs and building the housing that San Franciscans deserve.

Meanwhile in China: China has developed a new acoustic-optical system for countering UAVs. The Chinese company Beijing Ribri Technology has unveiled an integrated drone defense system. The system operates using a multi-stage algorithm: acoustic sensors detect the sound of an approaching drone, artificial intelligence recognizes and identifies the target, and thermal imaging cameras and laser rangefinders determine the precise coordinates and lock onto the object for continued tracking. Once the object is acquired, the system initiates targeted jamming, causing the drone to lose control and either make a forced landing or crash to the ground.
