I am forcing her to jump forward because I want to overemphasize the deep drop step. This Toppin drive looked funky, and upon review it's a travel. He short hop gathers the ball with right foot down. He then takes a step with left, step with right, those are legal, but then one more step with left for a travel. Refs missed what should've been an easy one

Was this a mistake from Heaven, or great timing from Mbaye? He’s aware of the danger but the left-foot step he took to anticipate Boly’s run makes intercepting the cross hard. Mbaye times his acceleration right after the scan & on that left-foot step.

1) If you're Tyreek having a fit on the sideline, you can't be running around like this appearing to have no clue where he's supposed to line up (this isn't the only time in the game this seemed to happen - and it's carry over from previous seasons). 2) As an OL coach, I harp on footwork - a lot. This looks like a 3/4 slide protection right. Paul would initially have the DE 1v1, but when the LB walks up, appears this protection calls for him to have MDM (most dangerous man) - and that Conner would get the DE. Watch Conner's footwork. Right foot up. Then trying to step up with the left on the 1st step and back with the right on the second step - never going to get there.

Sean Elliot thinks Butler got away with an extra step. Let's examine the play. Remember: the foot on the floor when a progressing player catches a pass is the gather step and doesn't count towards the legal two steps from that point-which is all Butler does. It makes no difference that both feet were off the floor in between step 1 and step 2. It's still just a step in the rulebook. Legal, as the naked eye can't discern any gap between control of ball and gather step down

Keeping the ball low means the ball won’t have enough air time to go OOB which is on both sides of the 1st hole It’s a amazing that the best golfers on the planet still revert to a second serve when they NEED to get that thing in play Cool shot here 🐝
