What she describes is a textbook case of how unions and other civic organizations use the power of their membership to join insurgencies. A Weekend Message to Global Pioneers Hello, pioneers! This is Doris, Founder and Chairperson of the Global GCV Movement. Today is Saturday. It is a very nice day. First of all, I want to wish everyone a happy weekend! Today, I just want to give you a brief summary about what has been happening recently with our Global GCV Movement. Recently, we completed an important stage of our reorganization. Our structure is basically finished now. Everything is going very well, and I am very excited. During these days, I have been communicating with different communities around the world. Today, I have been communicating with the Vietnam community and Thailand community leaders. We have also prepared another meeting with the Thailand community for next Monday. Next week, I will talk with GCV leaders and pioneers from different African countries. The following week, we are preparing a meeting for the Arab community. After that will be India, and possibly some other countries. I am very happy because during this process, I have seen many great leaders. They are energetic. They have vision. They are very smart. Most importantly, they can recognize what is right and what is wrong. This is one of the basic qualifications of a good leader. Why Do I Want to Talk to You Today? Because I have found that one of the biggest problems in our community right now is misinformation and fake promises. These have become obstacles on our path toward financial freedom. I know what everyone wants to ask: When can we have money? When can we achieve financial freedom? Right? This is the answer everyone wants. But today, I want to tell you: It also depends on you. If you can be humble enough to study and truly understand how Pi Network works, and if you stop being misled by so much misinformation and fake news, you will gradually understand the answer. Because you must look at Pi Network as a complete and systematic structure. It is not something where only one part can work and then the entire system will automatically succeed. Technology Alone Is Not the Answer For example, many pioneers have been misled. They assume: Technology alone can bring them financial freedom. So they wait for upgrades. They wait for contracts. They wait for smart contracts. They assume that once these things arrive, they will achieve financial freedom. So they just keep waiting. Every day, they wait. They do nothing, but they expect something to suddenly happen. I tell you: That is impossible. Why? Because the vision of Pi Network is for Pi to be used as a currency. This is different from simply being an asset. If something is only an asset, you may not need to do anything. You buy it, hold it, wait for the price to increase, and then sell it, hoping to make a profit. But Pi Network is different. Because the vision is for Pi to become a currency. So we must understand: How can we support the long-term vision of the Pi Network Core Team? If pioneers cannot understand this long-term vision and only have a short-term view, then they will do nothing. And after Migration, they may immediately sell their Pi. That behavior will have an impact. Ecosystem Maturity, Migration, and Pioneer Behavior This part is extremely important. Please listen carefully to this logic. The development of Pi Network's Value Mainnet depends on Ecosystem Maturity. But: Ecosystem Maturity depends on Migration Speed and KYC Speed. And: KYC Speed and Migration Speed are related to the condition, understanding, and behavior of pioneers. This is the logic. So ask yourself: Have you studied? Do you truly understand Pi Network? Do you understand and support the long-term vision of the Pi Network Core Team? If pioneers do not understand this long-term vision, if pioneers do not have this vision, then what may happen when their Pi is migrated into their wallets? They may sell it immediately. And this behavior will have an impact. It will affect the Core Team's confidence in the pioneer community, and it will affect the overall speed of the process. This is one of the reasons why the steps can be very slow and why we still feel that we are stuck here today. The Core Team needs to see the condition of the pioneers. They need to see whether pioneers truly understand the long-term vision of Pi Network. If large numbers of pioneers immediately sell their Pi as soon as they receive their Migration, this behavior shows that pioneers are not truly ready yet. We can already see evidence of this kind of behavior through the exchange market and market price. So I want to tell everyone again: Technology alone cannot bring you financial freedom. It also depends on you. Because we are human beings. Human behavior will influence whether Pi Network can succeed. Pioneers are not simply people standing on the sidelines waiting. Pioneers themselves are part of this entire system. So What Is the Answer? Actually, the answer is very simple. Today, please read the Pioneers Handbook. Please also study the GCV Education Series that I have been writing. You must first understand. Once you truly understand, it is almost like waking up. Because suddenly, you can see: Your future destination is right there in front of you. What you need to do is not complicated. Read. Study. Then repost and share the education. Help another pioneer read it, study it, and understand it. It is actually very simple. Why do I ask you to help other pioneers? Because if you say: “I don't care. I don't want to contribute. It has nothing to do with me.” Then when other pioneers receive their Migration, they may sell their Pi. When large numbers of pioneers sell their Pi, their behavior will affect the development speed of the entire ecosystem. It will also affect your Migration Speed and, ultimately, the timing of your financial freedom. Do you understand? This is very simple logic. So please calm down and study. Once you truly realize this, you will know where you should focus and what you should do. All Pioneers Are on the Same Boat All pioneers are one big family. Don't fight each other. Because we are all on the same boat. Don't do foolish things, okay? All of us who are working here are also working for you. If you want financial freedom, what you are supporting today is actually yourself. You are not supporting Doris. You are supporting yourself. But right now, many pioneers have become confused by all kinds of information. You don't know where the correct path is. Today, I am telling you where I believe the correct path is. I hope everyone can calm down and study. In my view, this is one of the most important paths toward financial freedom. Don't assume that everything will automatically happen simply because you are waiting for another Core Team upgrade. And don't assume that everything will automatically be solved because you are waiting for legislation such as the Clarity Act. You have already waited many times. Now somebody says: “Something will happen on September 15.” But I want to tell everyone: Do not continue putting your hopes into unverified dates and promises. Because the most important problem has still not changed: Pioneers have not truly awakened yet. The pioneer community has not yet built sufficient trust through its understanding and behavior. So from today, I hope everyone can truly calm down. Calm down and study. Study carefully. Understand Pi Network. Understand the Ecosystem. Understand Migration. And most importantly, understand this: Your own behavior is connected to the future of Pi Network. Don't just wait. Start with yourself. Study. Educate. Share. Help more pioneers truly wake up. The development of Pi Network's Value Mainnet depends on Ecosystem Maturity. But: Ecosystem Maturity depends on Migration Speed and KYC Speed. And: KYC Speed and Migration Speed are related to the condition, understanding, and behavior of pioneers. This is the logic. So ask yourself: Have you studied? Do you truly understand Pi Network? Do you understand and support the long-term vision of the Pi Network Core Team? If pioneers do not understand this long-term vision, if pioneers do not have this vision, then what may happen when their Pi is migrated into their wallets? They may sell it immediately. In the spring of 2022, former President Barack Obama gave a major policy addressat Stanford University’s Cyber Policy Center, where he laid out a sweeping proposal for government censorship of social media platforms through the Platform Accountability and Transparency Act. Six days later, President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security announced that it had created a “Disinformation Governance Board” to serve as an Orwellian Ministry of Truth with the clear goal of controlling the information Americans could access online. At the heart of Obama’s vision for Internet censorship was legislation that would have authorized the US government’s National Science Foundation to authorize and fund supposedly independent NGOs to censor the Internet. The DHS and Stanford Internet Observatory, which was part of the Stanford Cyber Policy Center, pioneered this censorship-by-proxy strategy as a way to get around the First Amendment in 2020 with posts raising concerns about the 2020 elections and in 2021 with “narratives” expressing concern about the Covid vaccine. The 2024 election of President Donald Trump significantly reduced the threat of Obama, DHS, and NSF censoring the American people. Trump defunded much of the Censorship Industrial Complex. The Platform Accountability Act is going nowhere in Congress. Elon Musk fired most of the censorship staff at Twitter and has allowed a significantly wider range of speech on the platform. And even before Trump’s election, Stanford donor Frank McCourt stopped funding the Stanford Internet Observatory after Public, Racket News, and House Weaponization Subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan exposed its central role in the DHS censorship-by-proxy scheme. But now, foreign governments, including Europe, the UK, Brazil, Australia, and others are demanding censorship, including of the American people. The risk is that US tech companies will find it significantly less expensive to have a single global censorship regime and just go along with foreign censorship requests. Facebook complied with Biden administration demands to censor because it needed Biden’s help in dealing with European censorship officials. And the Brazilian government forced Elon Musk to continue censoring the Brazilian people after it froze Starlink’s assets. In the spring of 2022, former President Barack Obama gave a major policy addressat Stanford University’s Cyber Policy Center, where he laid out a sweeping proposal for government censorship of social media platforms through the Platform Accountability and Transparency Act. Six days later, President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security announced that it had created a “Disinformation Governance Board” to serve as an Orwellian Ministry of Truth with the clear goal of controlling the information Americans could access online. At the heart of Obama’s vision for Internet censorship was legislation that would have authorized the US government’s National Science Foundation to authorize and fund supposedly independent NGOs to censor the Internet.
