Initiatives such as the restoration of degraded lands and the protection of biodiversity-rich areas contribute to this goal. -Sustainable Development Policies: Rwanda integrates climate action into its national development plans, promoting sustainable urbanization, green transportation, and policies to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. -Regional Leadership and Advocacy: Rwanda advocates for climate justice and support for vulnerable nations, especially in Africa, emphasizing the need for developed nations to fulfill climate finance commitments. -Participation in Global Initiatives: Rwanda actively participates in global initiatives such as the Climate Vulnerable Forum and NDC Partnership, collaborating on climate resilience and adaptation strategies.
