"I address you at a time of an ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The impact of that war has shaken the entire globe, including here in our beloved motherland, Zimbabwe. While, my Government has put in place measures to shield us from unforeseen and potential shocks, we must remain vigilant and focused." H.E President of Zimbabwe

Today I had the honour of being assigned by the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Hon. Col. (Rtd) Dr. K.C.D. Mohadi, to represent him at the 17th Edition of the Zimbabwe National Youth and Paralympic Games at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera. These Games held under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa reflect his unwavering commitment to placing youth development and empowerment at the centre of our national development agenda. Through sport we are identifying talent building discipline, promoting unity and creating opportunities for our young people. When we invest in our youth we invest in Zimbabwe’s future.

We must not roar about the war in Ukraine but be quiet about the tragedy in Zimbabwe. We must be louder about the fire nextdoor because it burns our children and our homes. Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦 must not attend the SADC summit if it is hosted by the evil dictator President of Zimbabwe.

This morning, I joined BBC World’s Newsday to discuss President Tinubu’s Declaration of National Security Emergency. I stressed that dismantling the kidnap-for-ransom industry requires our armed forces to rethink their philosophy, adopt lighter and more agile equipment, and take the fight directly into the terrorists’ enclaves. Trust in our security agencies will only be restored when Nigerians begin to see tangible results on the ground.

It was a great PLEASURE and a tremendous HONOUR to personally invite His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, to attend our Annual Spiritual Conference here in HARARE. I am extremely grateful that despite the enormous responsibilities of leading our nation, His Excellency graciously ACCEPTED my invitation and honoured our Church with his presence. 🙏🏽🇿🇼 Leadership at the highest level carries immense responsibility, and I firmly believe that no man can occupy such an office without the permission and GRACE OF GOD. Our President is a man who respects GOD and understands the importance of FAITH in leadership. Under his stewardship, Zimbabwe continues pursuing its developmental agenda, driven by his vision, policies and determination to see our country PROSPER. Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo, vachitungamirirwa naMWARI. 🙏🏽 The spiritual message delivered at our conference was equally powerful: that His Excellency is our modern-day JOSHUA, entrusted with leading Zimbabwe towards its CANAAN. The message further declared that his assignment should continue for not less than 28 years. Your Excellency, if we count from 2017, mathematics takes us to 2045 😂😂😂…so perhaps the calculators must now come out!!! What matters most is that GOD'S WILL and the will of the PEOPLE must always prevail. Thank you once again, YOUR EXCELLENCY, for honouring my invitation and respecting the Church and the Kingdom of GOD. Zimbabwe is indeed BLESSED to have a Head of State and Government who recognises the importance of SPIRITUAL guidance, national unity and development. May the ALMIGHTY continue granting you wisdom, strength and good health as you serve our beautiful nation. GOD BLESS ZIMBABWE…GOD BLESS OUR PRESIDENT… 🇿🇼🙏🏽🇿🇼

Whatever one thinks about Trump’s intervention in Iran, the fact is it has cruelly exposed the vulnerability of our national defences. But that warning is a blessing that we must be grateful for. We MUST act now to rebuild our armed forces and defence infrastructure. The next lesson we receive could well be much harsher. History is full of examples of nations who didn’t heed the warnings of looming danger. I hope that Reform’s decision to commit to the triple lock doesn’t signal a further dive into the consumer politics that has consistently treated national defence as a secondary priority.

This is the most corrupt President in the history of our country. But let me be clear: every branch of our government now has corruption that is cancerous and eating away at our democracy. We must demand change.

We can’t be a nation where some citizens give birth in hospitals while others deliver children in the fields! The resources of our nation belong to all of us and must be equally shared among us and across our motherland. I stand with President ⁦William Samoei Ruto, PhD⁩ on this.

Al Green calls for Donald Trump’s impeachment from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial: “There will be articles of impeachment filed. My conscience tells me that I must vote to impeach a President who disrespects the Constitution. A President who wants to be an authoritarian who is devolving our democracy into a dictatorship. He must be impeached. He must be convicted. He must be removed.”
