The war was pointless to begin with.The only thing achieved in this war was exposing Russia weaknesses as so called superpower, NATO got new allies,Ukraine proving their strength and determination to hold on to what is theirs. Russia should go back home before it’s too late 😤😤
Prigozhin's explanation of the graft and stealing that has been happening in Donbas since 2014 is just a microcosm of the story of all of Russia post-USSR. Russia is the one of the most corrupt countries in the world, this is why their military is so inept and ineffective. In the propaganda they produced their military looked first rate, but the reality on the battlefield has shown it is not.
Prigozhin is getting political leverage, and as a side effect, he's helping Ukr. By directly challenging Putin in the middle of a war presented in Russia as a conflict w/ NATO, he presents himself as a possible alternative and someone with whom NATO can do business.
Just another populist: He always sounds as he roots for the small guys, but at the end he is into power and money. He is also the guy who used to order convicts as cannon rudder.
